This is one of the two most beautiful tours we can do near Granada.
Known as the Gollizno Route, it is a tour of great environmental value, which passes through historically important enclaves around the town of Moclín and Olivares.
During the tour you will be able to appreciate the beauty of the landscape from its viewpoints, cross the Velillos River via the suspension bridge and the recently restored pedestrian walkway to the Corcuela Fountain.
We will enter the "Tajos de la Hoz", a natural gorge carved by the constant flow of water that, together with the lush riverside vegetation, will give the hiker a pleasant feeling.

Ruta del Gollizno
Groups reduced to a maximum of 6 people, for larger groups consultants. We continue in a van with 8 plazas at the starting point of La Ruta. Total distance traveled on the route: 8 km. Time elapsed: 3 hours. Difficulty level: easy (there are some pendants that we have with the important deposit and enjoy the scenery).

5.00Beautiful hiking trail, nice variety of a beautiful gorge, rivers, waterfalls, rope bridge, virtually everything unpaved. Beautiful views, views, varied nature with in this part of the year plenty of greenery with delicious scents. Enjoyed it a lot. With a good basic condition, good shoes and a little perseverance just doable!

5.00Really lovely walk through the tranquil countryside. The walk is not challenging, but sturdy footwear is needed as the paths have loose stones and are used neven in places. It’s worth doing this early in the morning to enjoy the views with fewer people on the trail.

5.00Julio was very helpful in arranging an easy pick up point in Granada. We were the only two in the group (April 2022) but Julio is very easy to chat with so a relaxed experience. Our hike was about a 30 minute drive from town and it was lovely to see the countryside and be out in nature. The hike itself was a good mix of walking and climbing but not too taxing. Would highly recommend.

5.00First of two mountain excursions I did in Granada, and first joy. I must say that I am an absolute stranger about hiking trails, but I love nature and that is why I decided to do it. The road starts flat along the river, but pulling at the end there is an uphill stretch that would be somewhat demanding for a very sedentary person. I don’t give more details because these experiences must be lived with the five senses. In this adventure I shared the experience with two lovely families and with Julio, our guide, who was very close and friendly with all of us and who is rating the experience he has, since he did not lack anything in the van (he gave us some mountain sticks that were holy water on the climbs and on the descents). In addition, during the journey, he takes a few photos that he then sends to WhatsApp. In short, I recommend the tour (especially after having visited the Alhambra the day before, which was a bit stressful).

5.00I joined this tour at the end of February. We were a small group and hit it off right away. It was all there, blooming almond trees, a suspension bridge in a rocky gorge and again and again the river we followed through mountain and valley. Also great that photos were taken. Thanks to the tour guide! Good job !!! Always happy ;)

5.00A wonderful Experience for our Family, and also perfect for Couples or individuals Julio was a wonderful Tour Guide, experienced, knowledgable and caring We were collected by Julio at a central location in Granada and brought to the tour starting point. It was a 30 minute drive. Julio was very professional with all preparations and with our individual needs. The hike was conducted at a pace that suited us. With children on board that was very considerate and much appreciated. The views and vantage points were fabulous. Julio made a point of taking group and individual photographs along the way. It was lovely to have complete Family shots. Julio kindly emailed all the high quality photographs to us after the trip, 26 in total in our case ! The hike was 2.5 to 3 hours, and felt like 1 hour It was very manageable indeed. There were a few steeper gradient walks, but nothing too challenging. With the frequent stops along the way, the chats and time for a snack it was all very relaxed and highly enjoyable. If you want to spend some quality time outdoors then this trip is not to be missed. You will not find a more professional caring considerate guide that Julio. Thank you Julio for taking care of my Family. It remains one of the highlights of our Family Holiday.
We love walking so we thought this was ideal for us, and we were right

5.00My and my girlfriend really enjoyed it, with the hot weather, the walk was not too long. We really loved the vieuws. The guide, Julio, was a friendly guy who gave us a lot of information about a kind of things.

5.00Julio moved us to the place of the beginning of the tour at the indicated time and place. Always with great respect and professionalism the group has guided us and explained what we were meeting along the way and also giving us hiking tips. I in particular had never used the canes. In addition to that he offered to take pictures with our mobile phones as well as with his professional camera and then send us the photos. Returning to the city of Granada, he recommended places for lunch. Fully recommended! It's been a pleasure!
