Discover the patterns of life in suburban Tirana as you pass through the city on your way to the countryside. As you approach Lake Bovilla, see the lake's impressive dam. Admire the lake's shimmering teal and turquoise waters, nestled at the base of Gamti Mountain. Head up to the hiking track to begin your ascent of the mountain, soaking up the nature atmosphere.
After about 40 minutes of hiking, reach the balcony of the mountain and observe the expansive, rolling forest and hills stretching out before you. At your feet, gaze in wonder at the stunning views of Lake Bovilla. Breathe in the fresh mountain air on your cheeks in a setting of pure natural beauty. Trail details : Min Altitude : 460 m Max Altitude : 620 m Elevation: 160 m Distance up and down : 1.95 km ( 0,97 km one way) Pause to sip water and chat in the shadows of a mountain cave before descending the mountain along the same route. FREE TIME: During the tour, the guide will give you free time to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings of Bovilla Lake. You can use this time to have your own snacks or drinks, or choose to enjoy lunch at the restaurant there.

5.00The trip to Lake Bovilla was a nice, calm journey and the driver was very chill. The tour guide always waited for people to catch up if they were a little far behind. Lots of needed information was shared on this trip such as how much spare time we had to explore and when we needed to get back. When any of the fellow travelers looked a little tired Lola would hang back to have a little chat which boosted up the positivity in the general area. Along both journeys our guide talked to us through a microphone and was surprisingly funny. If I wasn’t leaving on Friday morning I would love travel with this company again and go on many more exhilarating trips. Reviewed by ‘E’ aged 11

5.00Awesome experience. Beautiful views. The hike itself is not very long but it’s not super easy. If you are new to hiking, this might not be the best way to learn. Or if you are afraid of heights. But my husband was able to do it and he’s not the most athletic. Just be careful! Make sure you dress appropriately.
