5.00We had a wonderful half-a-day trip with our guide Izet. He was very friendly and professional and we enjoyed his company very much. The views of the mountains and the lake were also spectacular. The hike was short but pleasant and you get fantastic views from the top. The car was comfortable, Izet had a lot of water and snacks for us, which we appreciated, and everything went super smoothly. We really enjoyed this activity and would definitely recommend it to everyone!

5.00Despite the rain, thanks to Izet it was an unforgettable day! We were picked up on time at the agreed spot and enjoyed the comfortable LandRover. Along the way Izet gave a lot of information about Albania and stopped at the most beautiful places that others would not find. Sometimes the paths were a small challenge due to the rain, but if it wasn't safe, Izet wouldn't go there. We immediately had a private photographer with Izet! Even of my son, who normally doesn't want to be photographed, I have the most beautiful portraits now. Thank you Izet! We really recommend this tour, look no further.

5.00Izet was fantastic! He picked us up and dropped us off at our AirBnb. We had a great time chatting on our way to the mountain. The scenery was great and Izet knew great places to stop to enhance the experience. The hike was also fantastic and Izet was a wizard with the camera helping us memorialize the experience. It was a superb day thanks to Izet!
Definitely a must when visiting this beautiful country!

5.00Doing this day trip with Izet was one of the highlights of my first visit to Albania. Izet is kind, knowledgeable, fun, and cares a lot about giving his guests a great experience of his country. I am glad I opted for his tour as it is limited to only 5 people (as that is the most his Land Rover can hold). For my tour it was just him and myself, which worked out great. I enjoyed spending the day chatting as we traveled to and from Bovilla lake. Besides the lake and Gamti, Izet made a few additional stops to show the scenery and some of his favorite sights. Which are also impressive. Likely other tours do not stop in these places. Going with Izet and his car has some additional practical benefits. The Land Rover is the proper type of vehicle to traverse the unpaved and pot-hole stricken road. Which makes the trip much more comfortable. At Gamti, Izet drives the car all the way to the restaurant which is the real start of the hike. Many other tours park at the bottom of the road leading to the restaurant. That stretch of road is long, dusty, sun exposed, and with cars passing by going up & down. Not particularly interesting, so I appreciated starting the hike where we did. If you do go with Izet, as I recommend you do, let him take some photos for you. He's got a good eye for photography as well. Thanks again Izet!

5.00The perfect private excursion! There is no better way to explore the beautiful Albanian landscape than with Izet. He was incredibly friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating with special requests. He also took stunning photos for a special occasion! Can’t recommend this trip enough!

5.00We had such an amazing time during this hike. Not only the landscapes are absolutely stunning, but Izet made the experience 10x better. He was very kind, helpful, took a bunch of photos, and guided us through the hike. I definitely recommend doing this with him!

5.00The hike to Gamti Mountain with views over Bovilla Lake and the canyon are absolutely a must when visiting Albania. The scenery was peaceful and beautiful the entire way. Our tour guide Izet was friendly, knowledgeable,he had also provided fresh fruit and cold water which made the experience even better. A perfect day trip from Tirana if you love nature and hiking. Keep it up Izet !!!

5.00We had a fantastic day with Izet! He picked us up at our hotel and drove us to Bovilla Lake in his comfortable Land Rover. The car offered all the luxury we could wish for and made the drive up very pleasant, despite the challenging road. We would definitely not recommend this ride with a rental car or regular car. Izet is a great guide and moreover a particularly fine person. He tailored the whole trip to our wishes and liked to take beautiful pictures of us in various unique places along the way. Often these were locations you would never visit without a guide or even think about. He also shared numerous interesting facts about the lake and Albania in general. A nice extra: he had also provided fresh fruit and cold water, which made the whole thing even more pleasant. In short: this tour is highly recommended! Without a guide, the drive to Bovilla Lake would probably have caused us a lot of stress, but thanks to Izet we enjoyed carefree, saw more and learned a lot.
