the must do hike in the region, including wine tasting at the top !!!! An active way to discover the countryside and enjoy a beautiful view. The hike is not long (3 hours in total) but quite difficult. The view is worth it. Don't forget to bring good shoes !!!! Then you will at the top a local pic saint loup wine tasting and stop in a cute little medieval village on the way back to Montpellier Extra : you can book a lunch prepared by my wife in our family house : +30€ per person

5.00Amazing experience from start to finish. Bretrand is such an inviting host. Let me begin by saying the hike was difficult because of the rocky terrain and steep elevation, but the view at the end made it all worth it. After the hike we were welcomed by a beautiful home cooked meal that would rival any food in Montpellier! Delicious! Betrand paired the meal with various wines from the region. This was easily our best day in Montpellier.

5.00Our guide wonderful Bertrand and his utterly delightful wife made it a very memorable day in Pic Saint-Loup. After a very energetic hike up the mountain we were served a delicious home cooked meal and with great local wines. Bertrand has an excellent knowledge of the regions wines and perfectly explained many of the finer points.

5.00Already, do not hesitate to contact Bertrand he will take care of you and adapt so that the winetour goes to the best. Passionate and friendly he knows how to share his passion for wine and its region even if you are new to it. The meal was amazing, the whole day was amazing. I recommend 100%

5.00Bertrand is energetic, engaging, and has incredible knowledge of the area and its wines. He went out of his way to accommodate our Pic Saint Loup hike as the others in our group were primarily wine tasting. It was special to be welcomed to his home and to be served terrific food and wines post hike. This is an experience that should not be missed.

5.00We had the best time! The experience was Perfect activity for our small band of friends. Bertrand and family were the ultimate hosts. The hike was challenging, which we liked, but not for the faint of heart. The meal & wine tasting was above and beyond exceptional. SS60

5.00We didn’t hike in the end as we didn’t have the right foot ware with us so I do recommend you have this. But we had a fantastic trip with Bertrand, transported to beautiful places and delicious wine and lunch! Highly recommended

5.00BOOK THIS. Bertrand is the man. Informative, helpful, humorous, and kind. Whether you're new to the region or consider yourself an expert he has something wonderful to share with your group: a true local perspective. The hike is breathtaking and at least during the month of May the air is rich with beautiful fragrance and the sound of song birds. His mother (who blessed us with lunch) is worthy of a James Beard award. The tour of Chateau la Roque was simply delicious and fun. Oh and the transport is all included. If you're still reading this and haven't booked it yet then please go do that.
Challenging hike but worth it for the view at the top

5.00Bertrand is an excellent guide about Pic Saint-Loup in general and talked us through a selection of wines. He dropped up off at the start of the path. It is a challenging hike but the view at the top is to die for so it’s well worth it.

5.00The tour was a highlight of our time in Montpellier, beautiful views, Bertrand is an exceptional host, very warm, funny and shared a deep history of the place and his expertise on wine from the region. The winery he took us to was also incredible, we wanted to buy every bottle we tasted! Bertrand let us take our time during our hike and had wonderful suggestions for our time in Montpellier. We are really looking forward to coming back and doing the lunch cooked by his mother next time. It felt like we weren't just tourists, but got a sense of connection to the region. Thanks to Bertrand for a wonderful day, highly recommend all his tours.
