Guadarrama mountains, just 1 hour by car from Madrid city center, was declared National park in 2013, becoming the 2nd most visited park in Spain. Today these mountains are a must go destination for hikers and outdoor sports lovers.
The National Park extends over the Sierra de Guadarrama mountain range, whose highest peak is the Peñalara summit.
Hiking and trekking fans will enjoy the spectacular sceneries to be found all over the region of Madrid. Peñalara, La Pedriza, Fuenfría Valley or the Seven Peaks are superb locations to explore and hike.
During the route you will sightsee scot pine forests, clear water creeks and alpine meadows, impressive granite rock formations, glacier origin lagoons, mountain wildlife and flora, and superb mountain landscapes.

5.00This was a phenomenal experience. Our tour guide Alberto tailored just the right hike that was challenging yet completely doable. The landscape was amazing and he provided us a lot of history and geographical details that were quite interesting.

5.00After the beauty of urban Madrid, you have to experience the natural beauty of this national park. Our guide, Dani, was so well versed in history and the geography of the park. We so enjoyed hiking and stooping to see the wonderful views. I would take this hike every time I visit Madrid!

5.00Great day hike away from Madrid. Perfect for all skill levels, can be challenging or more leisurely. Dani was our guide. He was incredibly knowledgeable and professional. The communication, punctuality and experience were excellent. I would recommend to any outdoor enthusiast!

5.00Our family of three hiked in Sierra de Guadarrama with Daniel and had a wonderful time. Dream Peaks was endlessly patient through the booking process as we had to make some changes. I would absolutely recommend this company and look forward to our mountain biking trip tomorrow.
