The Tamarind Falls, also called the 7 cascades, is an enjoyable hike in the heart of the island. Our 3 hours guided hike is a highlight of the best waterfalls on the spot.
Surrounded by lush green forests and dark volcanic rocks, we progress on single tracks and open areas offering astonishing views upon the falls and the canyons.
During the walk, we have the possibility to enjoy a nice swim in the natural pool that water has carved in the rock, and appreciate a natural massage under the cascades.
Please note that this is not a flat hike; it involves traversing varied terrain with both ascents and descents over rocky surfaces and steep sections with roots. You may encounter challenging and technical parts along the trail. In some instances, you may need to rely on your hands for support, using branches or tree roots to navigate through these sections.

The Tamarind Falls, also called the 7cascades, is an adventurous hike in the heart of the island. It’s a total immersion in our tropical forest, where we will discover five of seven waterfall of Tamarind one after the other. Located in the centre of Mauritius, the hike offers a great discovery of the diverse nature of Mauritius. Surrounded by lush green forests and dark volcanic rocks, we progress on single tracks and open areas offering astonishing views upon the falls and the canyons. During the walk, we have the possibility to enjoy a nice swim in the natural pool that water has carved in the rock, and appreciate a natural massage under the cascades. This hike is suitable for the whole family and lasts more or less 3 hours including the swim breaks.

5.00I had a fantastic hike to the Tamarind Falls with Theo from Yanature. The path was quite steep and slippery in parts and Theo made sure that I know where to step to be safe. There was plenty of time to enjoy the amazing scenery, take pictures and to go for a swim. Highly recommended!

5.00Our guide Rowin was fantastic - he explained a lot and to all the questions you had he knew an answer. He always had a funny saying on his lips, but at the same time he was very responsible and led the group well, showed which way to go and reached out when it was difficult. It was a lot of fun and was a great experience. I can absolutely recommend the tour with Yanature 👍👍👍

5.00This was a beautiful tour to Tamarind Falls / 7 Cascades with guide Gilles/Yanature. What a wonderful nature and experience! We were alone on the afternoon tour and almost also at the falls. Gilles explained a lot to us about the plants and cascades. Descent and ascent must be done with respect. But Gilles has helped us a lot with the steps to be taken right. Great tip regarding anti-mosquito cream was also available. We can highly recommend the tour and Gilles and Yanature. Thank you very much:-)

5.00We had a really great time with Paj. He told us a lot about the nature and gave many insights of his Knowledge. We never felt like we had to hurry and always had enough time to take pictures, enjoy the nature and have a little fishy spa ;)

5.00We did the 5 stunts with Rowin. The hike is superb and the guide exceptional. We were a group of 9 with different levels, he helped people in difficulty. He made us do the stunts in the uphill direction to avoid the world. 3h walk a little technical but who sees the shot. Many thanks to ROWIN and for his jokes 😉
