  I had a fantastic guide called Ardi who was very communicative, organized, and insightful and provided great recommendations for someone who was traveling in Indonesia for the first time. He took me to additional great places that was not on the itinerary like Prambanan Temple, a local fruit stand where I tried salak (a traditional fruit) and Pawon Luwak Coffee where I had the best cup of coffee that I ever had! Because of the itinerary and my amazing guide, I had a very authentic and amazing experience travelling Yogyakarta. THANK YOU.

  We an incredible time on this tour! Ardi was fantastic, he knows the history and all the information about the temples and the city. It was great having him with us, definitely was the best way to see and learn about all the amazing sites. He took us to Borobudur for the sunrise tour which was gorgeous and then we had asked to extend the tour to see Prambanan as we had missed it the previous day because of a flight delay and he was so flexible with updating the plans. We asked for some good local food recommendations and Ardi took us for some of the most delicious meals I have ever had! This tour was great and if you book it as for Ardi because he made the day perfect! Ardi even got us tickets for the Ramayana Ballet when we told him we had wanted to go. This is one of the best experiences we have ever had and I would do this tour again in a heartbeat!

  Borobudur temple is an amazing sight to see. The jeep ride was also worth the price. Danni, our driver, was very accommodating. The insight he gave us into Indonesian life made the tour all the more interesting.

• Recommended but not for Borobudur visit. False advertisement, you can not go up!

  First and foremost the driver and the tour company were wonderful, a big 5 star for them! The 1 star rating is for Viator. This is false advertisement! You can not go up to Borobudur due to the stupidity of the Indonesian authority responsible for Borobudur. After Covid 19 the restriction remains, and to add further insult, it is closed on Mondays for maintenance!? Yet the entrance fee increased. The Viator website shows photos taken from the top of Borobudur, it is deceiving and false advertisement! The driver and operator were up front and told me this at pickup. So we changed Borobudur to Prambanan. The sunrise view was spectacular, highly recommended in good weather and the jeep tour was amazing!
