The pub is a British institution par excellence. Formerly called taverns, 'inns' or 'alehouses', some of the capital's pubs date back to Shakespeare's century, others from the Victorian era.

But you still have to know how to find them.

This guided tour invites you to discover some of London's must-see historical pubs. Each stop will be a jump in the past during which we will evoke a very particular historical episode like the appearance of the first signs, the Inns of Court, the publication

early London newspapers and many others. You'll know the story behind the names of the pubs and that ancestral beverage that is beer.

According to your desires we will be able to visit several historical pubs and why not enjoy around a glass of their superb decoration and atmosphere.

The visit with Maxime was incredible, due to his approach , his contact, his kindness. For the visit it was magical, we knew London and this neighborhood around covent garden....but Maxime showed us some beautiful places and pubs, this tour accompanied by history and anecdotes is really great...with a great guy. Maxime thanks again for everything ... and in addition he advises you about his personal experiences on pubs, restaurant ..... Even if you think you know London....I strongly recommend a visit with Maxime

We loved our visit with Maxime! He showed us hidden passages, pubs with fascinating pasts, and told us many anecdotes. We also had the opportunity to stop for a drink twice, and to get to know each other better. The flow went very well, Maxime is a well of knowledge and very warm. I would happily visit him again.

We had a great time with Maxime. He introduced us to places in London that we didn't know about (although we've been coming to London regularly for over 10 years) and his comments are very interesting and accessible to everyone. We didn’t see time pass. Our only regret: not having had the opportunity to take part in another guided tour with Maxime. It will be for a next time! Do not hesitate, you will not be disappointed.

Great time with Maxime! My spouse and I loved this tour! We learned a lot about pubs, but not only (architecture, history,...). The rhythm was perfect. We recommend this visit and for our part we will not fail to participate in one of the other visits proposed by Maxime during our next stay in London.

It was our third visit with Maxime, and we loved this fun and informative three hours. Since it allows you to discover London from a different angle, we would recommend this tour to everyone, whether you know London well or not!

To discover the Mood and know the anecdotes related to each of these places, nothing beats a guide like Maxime who particularly appreciates and knows each of these places. He can even advise you effectively to taste the local drink. It was a very pleasant evening walk and very friendly to discover very typical pubs.
To visit London differently!

Maxime and his colleague Jordi are very competent and pleasant and very attentive to our desires. Indeed, I ordered the preparation of 2 private tours "customized" for 4 participants and we were entitled to very high quality services. We had called Maxime 3 years ago for a visit from Jack l eventer and we had kept his contact details preciously and well took it from us. I will not hesitate to resolicit it and highly recommend it.

We had an excellent visit with Maxime. He is a very friendly guide who taught us a lot about the history of pubs in a friendly Mood. We will not hesitate to call on him again on a future visit.
