City Market
The building was once used for boxing tournaments. Today, it is serves as a market centre for meat, flowers, cultural jewellery and open restaurant 'kibanda' to enjoy a delicious meal. One can take pictures of the attraction site.
This used to be the tallest building in the City. It served as a warehouse used by coolies right next to the Uganda railway line. It was repurposed to be a colonial Govt issuance centre of identity cards (kipande) to the natives who worked in Nairobi. One can take pictures of the attraction site.

5.00The guide started with a good historical perspective of Kenya and the founding of Nairobi. We then walked throughout the city, hitting all of the places in the listing. We culminated the tour at the rooftop of the convention center, where we could look out over the entire city. Afterwards, the guide took us across the street to view the Catholic cathedral at our request. It was a splendid tour!

5.00My family and I enjoyed the walking tour of Nairobi. Tim, our guide is knowledgeable enough and answered all our questions. The view from the top of the convention centre was epic and the weather was perfect for us. We really enjoyed the whole experience and I recommend it to anyone interested.

5.00My guide was prompt in time as I met him at the pick up point. He gave a well detailed history of the country before we even began officially. We shared stories, I even forgot it was a walking tour. Quite a unique experience I haven't experienced before. I recommend this tour to everyone who's in Nairobi city.
