Sultan Qaboos Mosque
The largest mosque in Salalah is definitely an inspired place of worship that’s worth a visit if you are in Salalah. The Sultan Qaboos Mosque is located in the heart of the city, where people who come to pray and also the visitors stand in awe as they admire its architectural beauty inspired by the Islamic and cultural motifs from Oman’s history. Inside the mosque, the prayer hall is beautifully decorated with crystal chandeliers, handwoven carpets in shades of green, and patterned walls. The towering mosque welcomes thousands of worshippers for prayers each day. Make sure to visit the landmark during the visiting hours: 8am to 11am. please adhere to the dress code during the Visiting time in Sultan Mosque

5.00I really enjoyed my half-day city tour in Salalah with Amin. He was friendly, knowledgeable, and shared great insights into Omani culture and history. The tour covered the Sultan Qaboos Mosque, Haffa Souq, Fish Market, Museum of Frankincense all at a comfortable pace. Everything was well organized, with smooth pickup and drop-off. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Salalah for the first time!

5.00With Salma as a travel companion, we only had the best experiences. She is a very friendly, open person and told us a lot about the country and people on our tour and partly, e.g. during a visit to the mosque, very vividly introduced us to the culture of her country.. She has always responded to our questions in detail and has given us, for example in the Frankincense Museum, as much time as we needed to be able to view the exhibits of particular interest to us in peace. As a mother/daughter team we found it particularly pleasant to be looked after by a woman. In this respect, we can recommend this tour of Arabian Travel Service without restriction.

5.00We had a great day in Salalah with our tour guide Ahmed. We were picked up from our hotel on time. The car was air-conditioned and water was provided. Lucky for us that Ahmed speaks perfect German and explained everything in our native language. On the trip we learned a lot about the local customs and traditions in Oman. Ahmed never got tired of answering all our questions - he also had good tips for dates and spices. We were able to take as much time as we needed everywhere and at the end we were treated to a very tasty typical tea with a pastry. In addition to the professional planning and the information we received, what we appreciated most was the honest warmth and the joy of conversation. It was like a trip with a good friend! Thank you very much
