What To Expect
Salem Old Town Hall
All tours depart from Salem's Old Town Hall, on the three steps. A local historian guides you through the cobblestone-lined streets of this 17th century city by the glow of lantern light. Explore the driving factors behind the infamous Witch Trials Hysteria of 1692, meeting real practicing witches along the way. Learn about the rise of Salem as a world-class haunted seaport, creating some of the wealthiest families in its history.
Essex Street Pedestrian Mall
We will be strolling the cobblestoned streets of the Essex St Pedestrian walking mall. This is the very heart of Salem, which once was a Native American trading path. You will visit the site of the First Church of Salem and hear the haunting tale of the Lady in Blue.

1.00I called to reschedule my tour for one week later and was told everything was set. I never received my updated tickets. I called again and was told the change wasn't in their system and they'll request a last minute refund. A week before isn't last minute. Then they had the nerve to ask if there was another tour I'd like to book. Hell no!!! Why would give you more money when you can't get this right. Extreme incompetence and unprofessional.

4.00Tish was our tour guide. She was very knowledgeable and you could tell she enjoyed her job. We went to a lot of interesting sites on our 2 hour tour. We chose the 7:45 pm tour. It was kinds cool being dark for some of the tour. Both my Husband and I enjoyed it.

5.00Witch City Walking Tours was AMAZING! Sean was SUCH a good storyteller and clearly a history buff. He was very animated, engaging and highly knowledgeable. So much so that we forgive the dad jokes! I’d recommend a tour with this company and especially with Sean any day. My friend and I are even considering rebooking with the company for a different tour to be able to learn more from Sean again! 10/10
