  When in Paris, one must behold the presence of haute couture before and after shopping. This tour was just too cool, being an obsession of our circle of friends. We learned so much underlying history and would firmly recommend the tour to anyone who wonders about the French role in how it all came to be. The tour guides were really personable and super friendly in general, translating for us in turn. We were almost late in a new city and spoke no French, but our guide put our worries to rest. Wonderful people, wonderful tour, and we even left with some shopping tips that proved to be perfect.

  Mila is brilliant! She is a wealth of knowledge, layering both the history of Paris and the history of fashion. She was a pure joy to listen to as she wove details of kings and queens with the rise of Haute Couture. We had an absolutely beautiful time. We feel in love with Paris even more.

  This tour completely blew me away. I learned so much in such an engaging and effortless way. The storytelling was vivid, full of fascinating details about designers, cultural shifts, and the moments that shaped the way we dress today. It felt less like a lecture and more like walking through a living story. You can really feel the passion and knowledge behind it, and it made me see the city in a totally different light. Honestly one of the most interesting tours I’ve done in Paris and I would absolutely recommend it

  Fun & educational. A special walking tour combining history, culture & fashion. Learned about the birth of fashion in Paris and how it was interconnected with politics and history. Learned so much about historical buildings, streets, and palaces (and their connection to fashion) - places I had previously just walked by - and suddenly there was context and meaning and they came to life. Can’t recommend this tour enough - wish every Paris visitor could do it. Our tour guide Mila was amazing - knowledgeable, thoughtful and kind.
