The Independence Palace
Independence Palace was the base of Vietnamese General Ngo Dinh Diem until his death in 1963. It made its name in global history in 1975. A tank belonging to the North Vietnamese Army crashed through its main gate, ending the Vietnam War. Today, it's a must-visit for tourists in Ho Chi Minh City. The palace is like a time capsule frozen in 1975. You can see two of the original tanks used in the capture of the palace parked in the grounds. Independence Palace was the home and workplace of the French Governor of Cochin-China. It has lush gardens, secret rooms, antique furniture, and a command bunker. It's still in use to host important occasions in Ho Chi Minh, including APEC summits.

5.00Lan was very knowledgeable and obviously loved her city. She took us to the main attractions and gave us an excellent overview of the agriculturalc history of the Vietnamese. She was open to making changes in the itinerary when requested. The War remnants museum was particularly enlightening.

5.00Everything was good, the drive was long because of the port but the driver was very good and the car was comfortable. We saw nice parts of the city with good information about everything.

5.00From beginning to the end this was the best tour I have done in Asia It was very informative and so well orchestrated we had a lovely traditional meal and both our tour guide and driver ensured it was a day to remember always punctual polite and friendly Cannot recommend it enough

5.00Great tour, Mr Chin was fantastic with us and very patient. Went to 10'000 Budda pagoda, China Town Market, outside of Notre dame (currently being renovated so lots of scaffolding) post office, old parliament building and war remnants museum. Had a great meal at street foot place (lots of western people there). Lovely driver too Mr Song. We would recommend you communicate the day before to arrange time as the website says start at 930 but they were waiting from just after 7am so you could have more time. Overall great day!

5.00This was one of the best private city tours we’ve taken. Hillbilly Jack (Tam) was amazing. Even though he is a young man he is filled with knowledge and wisdom. He is also very funny and will make you laugh. The lunch was delicious and our driver Mr. Tran kept us very safe on the crazy Saigon roads. “No Refunds”! 🤣 It’s an inside joke.
