Very informative. Great experience but would like to have had more time there, in the hobbit hole, shop and cafe. Seemed a bit rushed. Lunch was delicious!

This is a must see when visiting Auckland. For the Lord of the rings fans and non fans a fantastic attraction. Wear your walking shoes as you journey through hobbiton on an adventure. Stop for lunch and an ale at the green dragon Inn and enjoy the surrounds. Then enjoy the comfortable bus ride back to Auckland.

Rachel our driver made the 2 hour coach ride from sky city to the hobbiton movie set very entertaining, they were very experienced in the history of NZ and we learnt so much along the way. Hobbiton itself is so amazing! Our guide knew everything there was to know about it, I would highly recommend if you are travelling to NZ you book this tour in.

I appreciate the timeliness of the trip - bus left the terminal on time and arrived on time as well. David, our bus driver, was amazing! Filled us in with a lot of details about NZ and the places that we saw along the way. Our guide in Hobbiton was energetic and was a good storyteller as well. Lunch was awesome! Loved the whole experience (including the ginger ale!), my mind was remembering scenes from the movie as we went through the Shire; my inner child was so happy!

Excellent tour, even if you are not a fan of lord of the rings. The tour guides are very knowledgeable and give you plenty of photo opportunities.
