Due to the delicate ecosystem within the Waitomo Caves, photography is not permitted inside. This policy helps protect the glowworms, ensuring the preservation of this unique environment.

Children aged 7 years and below are required to travel in a child safety car seat. You can provide your own or one can be provided for $20 NZD (with 24 hours notice).

5.00Another fun day with Cheeky Kiwis! Visited a magic glow worm cave, and Hobbiton movie set. A Movie fan or not the scenery is absolutely amazing! Matt made a long drive fly. Very knowledgeable about any topic New Zealand. Great conversation, safe drive and last but not least a nice lunch at the Shire caffe, that was included with the tour. Cheeky Kiwis made my New Zealand experience unforgettable! Thank you!

4.00Great landscapes, good and careful driver Alfredo. Lunch good but could be morebrelated to the film or authentical NZL. Logistics were good and attraction guides were enthusiastic and knowledgable. Crowd size was more than expected (14 people). Cheeky Kiwi van could also have business and first class options for more then 1.5 hours trajects. Hobbiton and Waitomo groups were even more crowded (22 to 30 people) and we can hear the group guide in front and the following plus it maked us visit the place with a tight schedule and few time to take solo pintures.

5.00Our tour guide Alessandro (Ale) was simply exceptional. It was a treat listening to him for almost the entire day. He made the entire tour worth it. The vehicle was comfortable and the drive was perfect. Overall we enjoyed our trip and the lovely insights that our amazing guide provided us.

5.00This was my second time using Cheeky Kiwi Travel and was not disappointed. This time my driver guide was Mike and he was great. The Waitomo Glowworm cave and Hobbiton tours were amazing. Next time I'm back in NZ I will be using Cheeky Kiwi Travel for other tours.

5.00A very well-managed experience to two of the best attractions on the north island of NZ. It makes for a very long day (from Auckland) but there are a sufficient number of stops each way to stretch your legs, etc. The MB van was luxurious and comfortable. Lunch was great. Our driver was excellent and well organized. Both attractions were amazing and the time at each is adequate to see everything. Well done!
