An exciting half-day biking tour in rural villages of Hoi An. This fun experience is suitable for all ages.
Meeting at our office - starting point, you'll spend some time to get used with biking. Then we'll cycle on quiet country roads to see scenic farmland & fishing villages. You'll enjoy beautiful views & exciting activities with the locals:
Visit a local home, learn the process of making Bean Sprouts.
Ride past duck farms & cow herds. Visit Tra Que vegetable village, walk in the scenic gardens to smell amazing herbs. Help a local man work the soil, plant & water the vegetables.
Ride along shrimp farms & rice paddies, see buffalo herds to take pictures. Visit Cam Thanh water coconut forest. Hop in the basket boats to enjoy a relaxing trip along the river. Local boat driver will help you use the fishing rod to catch river crabs for fun. Then it's time to enjoy a tasty Vietnamese meal with 5 dishes in a nice restaurant.
Tour with meal is 5 hours ; without meal is 4 hours.

After getting comfortable with riding bicicle, we hit the road. Avoid the traffic, we weave through small alleyways and drive to the fist stop. Meet a local family, you will learn how to make healthy Bean Sprouts in the oldest sprout producer of Hoi An. The making process is fascinating.

5.00We were lucky enough to have a private tour and it was an awesome experience with Lanh. We places he took us and the u expected bonuses, such as riding a Buffalo, is something our family will remember for a long time.

5.00This was a fantastic tour, we loved biking through the rice paddies, visiting the farming town, and the coconut boat and crab fishing was a highlight as well. Our guide Lanh was fantastic, knowledgeable, patient and able to pivot with an air conditioned car for us when the heat became too much for our daughter. We loved our experience! Would recommend going early to avoid the worst of the heat. Do not miss activity!

5.00This was an exceptional trip - a highlight of our time in Vietnam. Our guide Lan (and Mr Ha) were fun and informative about Vietnamese culture past, present and future. There was a bike leader and one at the back to ensure everyone was safe. The vast majority of the tour was on footpaths in rice paddies. We learned so much during the tour about farming and Vietnamese culture.it was easy riding and fun. Thoroughly recommend even for those rusty at riding a bike.

5.00Lan was our guide and she was amazing! We had a wonderful afternoon with her. She had excellent English and we had great converstations about everything from history, to policitics, the cost of housing, way of life, schooling, etc. We loved the visit to the bean sprout farm and learnt things we never knew before. We highly recommend this tour to others

5.00LÀNH was a great bike tour guide, so kind and helpful! I loved learning about growing bean sprouts from a local farmer and visiting a farm where we watered the gardens in the traditional way and fed fish! Great fun!

5.00We had such a wonderful day with John from Local Buddy Tours. He was very patient ensuring all our bikes were comfortable for the day. He took great care of us, as we rode through traffic and spoke excellent english. We met some beautiful, hard working local people and enjoyed delicious food. It was definitely a highlight for our trip to Hoi An and I would absolutely do it all over again. Request John if you’re in the area - he will take care of you and ensure you have an amazing experience!

5.00My wife and I booked the HOI AN Biking Vegetable Village, Basket Boat, Coconut Forest excursion. We are so glad we did! Our tour guide Trung and Lan were amazing! They were so knowledgeable and made our experience on the tour so seamless. Show us the routes, took us around Hoi An and pointed out things of interest. Took photos and videos for us to help keep the memories of our day. We would highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in seeing another side of Hoi An and get Trung/Lan if possible. You won’t be disappointed!
