Day 1: My Son Holy Land & Hoi An Ancient Town
Morning
After breakfast, your adventure begins as our English-speaking guide picks you up between 07:30 - 08:00 (or 13:30 - 14:00 for the sunset option) from your hotel in Hoi An Center. You will head out on a drive to My Son Sanctuary, a UNESCO World Cultural Heritage site set in a valley with rolling hills and tropical forests as a background.
Upon arrival at 09:30, prepare to immerse yourself in the mystical atmosphere of My Son, once the religious and political capital of the Champa Kingdom. You will spend the next 2 hours wandering through ancient red brick towers, listening to fascinating historical insights from our guide. Your experience reaches its crescendo with a Champa dance performance accompanied by traditional musical instruments, bringing Khmer culture to life.
By 11:45, you will return to the minivan and journey to a nearby local house where you will get hands-on experience in making rice paper - a skill passed down over the course of many generations. You will even get to enjoy the fruit of your labor.
At around 12:30, we will gather in another local house for a delicious homemade lunch, served with refreshing cold herbal tea.
Afternoon
Next, at 13:30, you will have a boat trip to Hoi An. Feel the breeze caress your face when you drift past picturesque landscapes, traditional fishing villages, and verdant riverbanks that have remained unchanged for centuries.
We will drop you off at your hotel in Hoi An around 14:00 (or 17:30 for the sunset option). Your day ends with many unforgettable memories.
Note: Without dinner and making paper rice activity for Sunset Option, you will have snack local food - banh mi & coco – for Sunset Option

Day 2: Full-Day Discovery Across Rural Hoi An
Morning
In the first part of our tour, you will pay a visit to Hoi An market, where colors, aromas, and sounds offer a window into local trade and daily life. While strolling stalls, you will uncover a wide array of exotic produce, spices, and herbs - many of which are staples in Vietnamese cuisine and known for their therapeutic benefits.
Following your market exploration, you will embark on a 40-minute boat journey on the Thu Bon River. The cruise leads you to a village nestled in the river delta, where your hands-on outdoor cooking class awaits beneath the shade of coconut trees.
Here, you will broaden your mind about Vietnamese cooking, including how rice is prepared after harvest using age-old tools. Under the guidance of local chefs, you will make your own rice paper and prepare four signature Vietnamese dishes:
Note: Vegetarian alternatives are readily available upon request to ensure every guest enjoys this experience. The menu may be adjusted seasonally.
Afternoon
After eating the flavorful dishes you have created, the afternoon brings an exciting bicycle adventure into the Hoi An countryside. Your two-wheeled journey takes you from island to island via peaceful paths, delivering intimate encounters with rural life that few visitors experience.
Along the way, you will stop to witness traditional crafts and local industries: observe how rice wine is distilled, try getting on a basket boat on a river stream, and watch skilled artisans weave colorful mats used in Vietnamese homes. Each stop brings a deeper appreciation for the heritage and hospitality of the region.
