CRUISE SHIP PASSENGERS: If you are arriving in Waitangi Wharf, the cruiseship provides FREE shuttle buses for cruise ship guests to transfer you into Paihia (5 minute bus ride)
The bus will drop you off outside the Paihia Wharf. Check-in at PIER 10

Cruise-ship guests need to insure their travel insurance covers them in the unlikely event that the cruise-ship does not stop in port, as we are unable to refund in these situations.

5.00I highly recommend this tour. A local company which provided great local information on all the islands and history. Hamish the captain was very knowledgeable and had a good sense humour as well. The crew were fantastic and very accommodating especially with my daughter who has a disability they made her day extra special. The blankets which were provided were a very nice touch to keep us warm on the trip. We were able to travel through the hole in the rock which was very exciting. The 2 island stop overs were amazing and the view from the top of the first island was incredible. Thank you for such an awesome experience.

5.00An amazing experience from start to finish. We stopped at two islands for a swim, and the crew kindly provided complimentary snorkeling gear, which was a pleasant surprise. We felt very well looked after, highly recommended.

5.00We had an absolutely fantastic time on the Island Getaway Tours Hole in the Rock tour in Paihia. The wildlife sightings were incredible we saw dolphins, a sunfish, and plenty of other fish along the way, which made the trip extra special. Blair gave an opportunity to explore and gain access to many areas the larger vessals wouldn't be able to get to, just outstanding! A huge shout out to Blair and Dan, they were brilliant. Both were fun, knowledgeable, and handled the boat with total confidence. Their commentary, sense of humour, and obvious passion for the area really made the experience memorable. An unforgettable trip with amazing scenery, wildlife, and a top-class crew. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting the Bay of Islands.
