  Our guide was informative, the crew was very accommodating. Lunch was fantastic and an added benefit was a pod of dolphins at the beach we stopped at. Swimming with the sea lions was a highlight of the trip!

  We had the best time swimming with the sea lions! Everything was so beautiful and nice. The ceviche lunch was delicious. I highly recommend.

  Guide and driver were knowledgeable, professional, and creating an environment to ensure everyone had a lovely experience. We are fortunate enough to see comebacks, dolphins, a juvenile, bald eagle, marine life on top of our sea lion swim where there was plenty of pups, mum‘s nursing, a big male too. Bring a towel and a long sleeve (for the sun and the wind).

  Prepare to fall in love with the cute and playful baby sea lions and be amazed by the turquoise waters with desert cliffs behind them. Federico was the best guide I’ve seen in a very long time— he is extremely knowledgeable about the marine life, understanding and helpful towards all the guests, and especially considerate towards my daughter. The ride can be bumpy for a bit, but that makes arriving even more adventurous. Lunch was fantastic (and we’re vegetarian!) the veg ceviche was impresionante. They had sparkling water and dessert too. Tips: you need to pay extra if you want a wetsuit but it wasn’t necessary even in end of December.

  My partner and I signed up for the All Day tour to Espiritu Santos to swim with sea lions and enjoy the islands! Our guides were very friendly and knowledgeable and relaxed, the weather was perfect and it made our trip to La Paz. We learned a lot about the birds and private beaches there and after an incredible time snorkeling in the sea we enjoyed a couple of hours on the beach, where we were given ample fresh lunch options and parasols to enjoy some shade. We got back just at the golden hour, about a 7 hour venture all in all. This is a phenomenal trip to learn more about the area and get away from the town, we loved every minute of it.

  What a wonderful experience! We had so much fun. We swam with sea lions, but also swam with countless other aquatic species. Our guides were so sweet and knowledgeable. Havey was so kind and made sure we enjoyed ourselves the entire trip. I love when guides checkin periodically to make sure everything is good. The caption of the boat was so skilled at driving the boat. He also made us the best vegan chiviche we have ever had in our entire lives. The veggie sandwiches where delicious too. Overall, we'd give this tour a 10/10. Definitely recommend it to anyone who loves snorkeling and fun adventures. Alonso Tours is an A+ company. We loved them so much we booked the whale shark tour with them too! Every year we come back, we will be using Alonsos Tours from here on out. They will forever be our go to tour company. To my fellow Americans, please tip the captain and guides well. They depend on your gratitudity to make a decent living in Mexico. The tips are very important so please do not forget that our tickets dont include tips to staff. Thanks.

  We actually ended up doing 2 tours with Alonso Tours, they are well organized, punctual and fairly priced. The boats are shaded with a bathroom, and they have water and snacks. The guides explain everything in both English and Spanish. We did the Espiritu Santo tour to swim the sea lions (about 20 people on our boat on a Saturday), and the Whale Sharks tour (8 people mid week). Espiritu Santo tour was quite easy, but the Whale Shark tour required you to jump in and out of the water in smaller groups, and swim fairly quickly to keep up with the whale shark - better if you’re a good swimmer.

  I signed up at the last minute for this tour after my other plans for the day did not work out. The person from the office was very helpful and registering was very easy. The tour itself was a great experience. The guide was very knowledgeable and happy to give his briefings twice - first in Spanish then in English for the gringos like me. One thing that I appreciated is that the tour left earlier than most other operators, which meant that it was less crowded and we arrived at the beach for lunch with only a handful of other boats - it filled up quickly after that. The tour offers a chance to see frigate birds nesting, other wildlife and an opportunity to swim with sea lions. They don't rush you and you have plenty of time to observe the animals.
