Start the day trip with a hotel pickup service in Krabi in the morning. Undergo a short health check-up by the crew of Krabi Sunset Tours at Nopparat Thara Pier in Ao Nang. Hop aboard the traditional longtail boat with your fellow explorers and head over to the Hong Island group.
Make a short stopover at Koh Daeng (Red Island) for open sea snorkeling with very clear water and a coral reef underneath.

Disappointing and dishonest experience – avoid Trip Store Krabi - Hong Island in Longtail Boat

1.00I specifically booked a tour with a longtail boat to enjoy a more authentic and peaceful experience. However, at the very last minute, we were told the longtail boat was “broken” and that we had no choice but to go by speedboat instead. This seems to be a common trick used by smaller agencies in Krabi – they pretend the boat is broken just to switch to a speedboat and cram in more people for higher profit. The whole experience felt rushed, crowded, and completely different from what we had chosen and paid for. At the end of the trip, I raised a complaint and requested a partial refund due to the change and overall disappointment, but the staff refused to take any responsibility or offer compensation. I would not recommend booking with Trip Store Krabi – they are not transparent, and you may not get what you paid for.

3.00It was good enough, but if not for the kayaking I probably wouldn’t recommend. Amazing views but tight schedule. The guide that led the kayaking however, went the extra mile. He was so sweet and knowledgeable and really tried to make sure everyone had the best experience.

5.00Highly enjoyable trip. Beautiful scenery. Sufficient time given for all the stops. Lunch was simple but nice. The guided sea kayaking was a great experience. We were upgraded to a speedboat which was in superb condition and added to the enjoyment of the day. Guides were well organised, knowledgeable and super friendly.

5.00An amazing experience beautiful scenery , lunch okay , we added the kayaking which was very good although arms packing next day . The 800 step climb to the 360° summit was well worth the hike

5.00Good snorkelling with nice hard corals and fish life. We got stung by jellyfish so wearing long sleeve rash guard and long pants is recommended. Beautiful Hong Island with its lagoon, beach and viewpoint. Lunch box was ok and as expected on this type of day tour. Kayaking from the beach to the lagoon was the best part of the tour. Great services from Sila and the boat crew who looked after us very well.

3.00Simply this advice to advise you to take information in advance because many islands have had their access denied for obvious issues of protection of nature and flora etc... it has been active for a year and already it is bearing fruit for some where blacktip sharks have returned.

5.00Good tour with beautiful stops. True, it was a cloudy day the snorkeling wasn't great, but definitely still worth it. The kayaking was a fun addition.
