Your local friendly guide and the driver will pick up at your place in Huangshan (Hotel, Railway station or airport, exact pickup time will be confirmed with you once the booking is made). Enjoy the comfortable and scenic ride to Hongcun village. Upon arrival, follow your guide to explore charming village, known as the “Painter’s village”, here appreciate the traditional Huizhou Style architecture from Ming and Qing Dynasty, the tranquil lake, see the interesting markets, visit the bamboo sea and find the footprints of the famous film “Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon”. Have great learning about the local life, culture, custom from your knowledgeable guide. After the great tour you will get dropped off at your Huangshan place.

5.00We had a fabulous day with Jesse from sunny private tours, she was a great guide, very knowledgeable and great English. The village was very interesting. All in all an excellent day trip, where we learnt a lot about the Chinese culture, both historic and present day. Would highly recommend this tour and Jesse the guide.

5.00Our Guide Jesse is friendly and very knowledgeable to the culture and history of the place. We have a pleasant time and enjoy the trip a lot. She takes pride in showing use around more and beyond what is required. Highly recommended

5.00Hongcun was a picturesque ancient town well worth visiting. Our tour guide Jesse was full of information about the town, its culture and its history. She speaks excellent English and we had no problems communicating at all. I did the tour with my 90 year old father and she was very patient and kind. My father likes to ask obscure questions and she did her best to find the answers which we really appreciated. Sunny the tour operator was a very prompt and clear communicator and everything went very smoothly with our tour. I had such a good experience today that I am booking another tour with them tomorrow.

5.00We had a great time visiting Hongcun Ancient Village. There is so much history in this small village and Jesse was a fantastic tour guide. She is very knowledgeable on the history of this town and was able to answer all our questions and recite ancient quotes and poems. Jesse English is A+ which made it really easy to communicate. She is also really good with kids. My 5 year old son was traveling with us and at the end of the visit he hold her hand all the way to the car and talked the whole distance. I would recommend this site which is also the site for the film Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon. And would definitely recommend to ask for Jesse as your tour guide.

5.00Jessie was extremely knowledgeable and shared many wonderful stories and details about Hongcun, which was the best part of our Hongcun-Mukeng Bamboo Forest-Old Tunxi half day tour with her. She was very accomodating and helped tailor the trip to our needs and interests. At the end of the day she took us to a local restaurant where we were able to try some local cuisine, which was a really fun experience! Thank you Jessie!

5.00A delightful afternoon wandering around an ancient atmospheric romantic village - looking at the buildings, the architectural symbolism and the small lake. Some nice shops and cafes. Lots of artists painting. The guide, Sunny, was very friendly, professional and knowledgeable. To get there, we drove through some gorgeous green scenery. Relaxing afternoon out. Would recommend.
