This ride lasts between 1.5 to 2 hours, and takes you through a trail that lies within the forest until reaching the upper part of the San Salvador River. Here you can take a dip in its refreshing waters and enjoy its beachy banks.
Our mountain lodge consists of 7 rooms, a mandala-style garden, and crop parcels focused on permacultural/agroforestry systems, not to mention the enchanting surroundings: ancient trees, hidden creeks, and a diverse array of colorful birds. Here in La Mello you can experience enticing adventures that bring you closer to nature.

5.00The tour was a wonderful four-hour beachside adventure that was incredibly enjoyable and is suitable for all experience levels. The entirety of the path and ending at the ocean was beautiful. The horses are especially adorable and make the experience a fun outing from start to finish.

5.00We did the 2 hour ride and it was spectacular. Lovely horses, beautiful scenery, very attentive and friendly guide. We had so much fun. It is highly recommended and we look forward to coming back!

5.00What a spectacular experience! The nature, the guides, the peacefulness of the ride… As someone with their fair share of horseback riding experience, I can tell you that you will not find a ride like this anywhere else! My family and I went on the long trip, where we got to see the scenery transform from a lush forest canopy to a beautiful tropical river and finally to the beach, where we took a salty dip in the ocean before returning to the lodge. The guides even had fresh fruit and water for us when we reached the beach. Do not miss this! :)

5.00Storybook experience! Horsebackriding through the forest past the serene rivers and finally onto and along the beach. I have been riding in many places around the world, but this experience is truly unique! To have mountain, forest, river, and beach in one 2-hr ride (3-4hr round-trip) is something I don’t think is possible anywhere else. The horses are beautiful and so gentle, great for first time riders but also a joy for experienced ones. If you have the chance to embark on this marvelous experience, you absolutely must!

5.00Since we left the hotel we felt the kindness of the hotel staff. They made us some lunch boxes for the road. And we were greeted by a person trained to accompany us with the horses. The horses were in excellent condition, well preserved, healthy and meek. The path travelled was full of nature and the endpoint was the top of the ride. The San Salvador River is beautiful, with crystal clear water in which you can swim for a good time. A unique experience that led us to connect with nature.

5.00It's an incredible experience! This was the first time in my life that I was handed the reins of my horse, since every time I had hired a ride, the horses were tied together, with the guide in front. A beautiful horse chose me and we connected very well. The horses are very well cared for and pampered. The path is spectacular, as it passes through the forest and the San Salvador River. You leave at 8 in the morning and at that time you see a lot of wildlife waking up. We were able to see howler monkeys eating in a tree. It truly exceeded all my expectations, especially due to the warmth of the staff who greeted us and accompanied us throughout the journey. Highly recommended!!!

5.00Uffff a chimba, beautiful landscapes, we were lucky enough to see howler monkeys. The guides are excellent people and were always attentive to us.
