  My girlfriend and I had an absolutely amazing experience at this adventure. The guides were fantastic, so friendly, knowledgeable, and made the entire ride feel safe and enjoyable. Communication was excellent from start to finish, and they were incredibly accommodating to our needs. Emailed with Peters Mooney Cab Coach and Bus Hire which they can help with transportation between Lisdoonvarna to and from Mountain View Horse Riding Centre. They responded rather quickly. They also provided helmets and half chaps, which made everything feel even more comfortable and well organized. The whole adventure was unforgettable, and I would 100% do it all over again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a great horseback riding experience!

  Very nice experience, the horses are very nice, very welcome Walk on small roads and forest passages with trotting and several small gallops With the chance to have had the sun!

  We did the 2 hour ride through the surrounding Forrest with views of the cliffs, the Atlantic. It was an amazing experience to not only ride horses in the Irish countryside but to also learn so much about an area that is steeped in history. Peter paired us up with horses based on our experience level and was a wealth of knowledge. As a rider, I came in hopeful and was completely blown away by both the horse’s care and the quality of the entire experience. We cantered through the Forrest and the learned about the surrounding area, even identifying the local school house and famine ruins. I was very fond of the horse I was paired with. Romeo was adorable, cheeky, and every bit the perfect boy. Katrina was a sweet guide who took her time to chat about my horses back home, while also sharing fun facts about the area. The tour was a dream come true for me and a great reprieve from our busy lives at home. It was surreal and I look forward to snagging another opportunity to visit and ride with the team again!

  This was the best trail ride I have been on. The owner accompanied us on the ride. We laughed the whole way. My son and grandson are both 6'4 and they had the equipment to accommodate them. Also the experienced riders did a lot of trotting and cantering. The views were breath taking. Add this to your travel list.

  Peter was amazing with the horses and us riders! We had a mixture of experienced and beginner riders and the guides really had considered that beautifully; we got some great canters in, while beginner ones stayed to trotting and walking, and everything we t so smoothly. Horses were wonderful, one can see that they are very well cared for and trained. This kind of an experience can p ly be created with happy horses. Nice trail with some scenaries on the way, and Peter made it very fun and safe fir everyone. Highly recommed!

  I love horses and seeing beautiful Ireland on the back of a horse was perfect. Peter, owner and tour guide, is personable, funny, supportive, and considerate. He was regularly asking questions to make sure that we were okay and having a good time. He would make conversation to add enjoyment to the ride. We got to canter the horses if we were comfortable. The country side was breathtaking. We would even stop on occasion to let the horses graze and have the chance to take photos of the miraculous views. I would recommend this ride to beginners or experts. The ride is a perfect way to see Ireland.

  This was a dream come true ….. ride in Ireland ! Peter and his staff were wonderful and made sure I had an amazing experience . I really appreciated how well kept the horses are and I would recommend this place if you are ready for an adventure!

  It was great ride with plenty of time to enjoy the views. The owner and guides were very nice. When I got hurt during the canter (due to underlying health issues), they were very concerned and understanding. The rest of the ride they let me ride at the back of the group and just walk and trot for the rest of the ride, which meant I could still enjoy the experience. I do recommend having some horse-riding experience when booking this.

  The guides are patient and kind. If you are not a very experienced rider the guides will teach you what you need to know to have a great time. This was a hi light of your trip.
