  **5/5 Stars** We just finished the Half-Day Private Muscat City Tour and it was absolutely outstanding – easily one of the highlights of our time in Oman! In only 4 hours we saw all the city’s must-see landmarks without feeling rushed, thanks to flawless organization and our wonderful guide, **Ahmad**. From the very first minute, everything ran smoothly. Our guide Ahmad picked us up right at our hotel in a clean, comfortable, air-conditioned private vehicle (huge plus in the heat!). He was incredibly knowledgeable, patient, and passionate – he shared fascinating stories about Omani history and culture that made every stop come alive. We started at the breathtaking **Sultan Qaboos Grand Mosque** – the intricate architecture, giant crystal chandelier, and stunning Persian carpets left us speechless. Next was the elegant **Royal Opera House**, followed by a relaxing photo stop at scenic **Qurum Beach**. We then admired the impressive **Al Alam Palace** with the historic **Al Jilali and Al Mirani forts** in the background, and finished at the vibrant **Mutrah Souq**, where we wandered through the colorful stalls, enjoyed the authentic atmosphere, and picked up some beautiful souvenirs and frankincense. The pacing was ideal, the vehicle was super comfortable, and bottled water was provided throughout. Being a private tour made it feel personal and flexible – exactly what we wanted. If you’re in Muscat (even for a short stay), this tour is an absolute must. Ahmad made the whole experience extra special and truly memorable. • Not Worth the Price for Experienced Riders

  I was really looking forward to this experience as the photos look absolutely amazing and the activity is advertised as a sunset horseback ride on a beautiful beach. The organization on-site was great and the staff were genuinely kind, helpful, and very attentive, which I appreciated a lot. However, I left feeling very disappointed. The horses only walked and wouldn’t even trot, so if you have any riding experience, I wouldn’t recommend going in with high expectations. We didn’t actually go for a real ride either – we simply went back and forth over the same short stretch of beach rather than taking a proper route. Additionally, the activity was supposed to be at sunset, but our session ran from 4:00 to 5:00 PM, and the sun actually sets around 5:30 PM. So we missed the sunset entirely, which was a big part of the appeal for me. Considering the price, I expected more. The promotional photos show horses galloping at sunset on an empty beach, and unfortunately the reality didn’t match that at all. While the staff were lovely and the logistics were well handled, the experience itself did not meet expectations, especially for experienced riders or anyone hoping for what is shown in the advertising images.

  We had an amazing day with Eman as our tour guide. She is knowledgeable, kind and was patient with us all throughout the day. This made our Muscat city tour memorable. At the end of the day, she took us to Rozna restaurant where we ate Shuwa, the traditional Omani meal. Thank you mytouroman for making everything memorable.

  We had so much fun, the guides were very helpful and informative. Safety was top notch, they made sure we go at our own pace, no rush. I’m definitely coming again.
