Get back to nature with Rancho Loco on the one and only horseback riding tour through Arikok National Park to the Natural Pool, Aruba’s most popular and most remote nature destination only reached by walking, horseback or 4x4. Our expert guides instruct and match you to your horse, no experience is needed. Your tour takes you into the Park for a relaxing ride on the Nacho Trail (no vehicle traffic) to experience a nature lover’s treasure that contains some of the most diverse flora, fauna and huge cacti in the region. Keep an eye out for wild goats as you ride up into highlands for photo worthy views of the island before descending to the coastline to reach the famous Natural Pool, a stunning formation of volcanic rocks that resemble a miniature mountain range, known locally as “Conchi”. Spend 30 minutes exploring the area or swimming in the pool before heading back to the ranch. Say goodbye to your trusty steed and have a cold drink at the bar (extra) before departing.

Long pants and closed shoes are *strongly* recommended but not required. If you choose to wear shorts, please bring a pool towel to put over the saddle to protect your legs.
Children must be accompanied by an adult

Your tour starts with hotel pickup and transfer to Rancho Loco, where a friendly local guide will provide instructions on how to handle a horse. Pair up with a well-trained equine friend and get comfortable in the saddle before taking off for your 2+ hour roundtrip horseback ride with additional time spent mid-tour at the pool.

5.00This experience was incredible, the staff were very personable along with educational. We were not able to swim at the natural pool due to the weather but it was an amazing experience and I would recommend and do this excursion again.

5.00Patrick was hands down the BEST tour guide we could have had. Booked this for the morning of my 25th birthday and it did not disappoint. My boyfriend surprised me with everything and I couldn't be more thankful for the horses and guides we got paired with. If you are an experienced rider it is best to go early morning or in the evening. The smaller the group the smoother everything goes. Patrick paired us each with the horse that best matched our energy, weight and experience. He even brought up a special horse for me because of my experience level and wanting to canter on the trail. I love how much positive energy this place gave us from the moment we arrived and got weighed/waivers filled out to being assisted into the beautiful natural pool and to the amount of care and attention we each received throughout the ride. I wouldn't recommend anywhere else to book your Aruba horse-back adventure with! These people really care about their horses and you can see it written all over the horses how comfortable they are here. I was even allowed to spend extra time with the horses untacking and hosing them off after our ride when I asked. This horse tour really made my birthday special and I couldn't thank everyone enough for making this happen

5.00So fun! I was apprehensive because I have never rode a horse but we were taught how to properly ride. The horses were so beautiful, the trail ride was amazing through the national park, and then we made it to the natural pool. After a short swim we headed back. Overall this trip was amazing and will forever be a memory!

5.00I can’t say enough good things about this Ranch, the horses, the owner, the guides. It was such an amazing experience to see the national park and natural swimming pool. The morning ride is your best bet as it gets super hot out there on the trails. I’ve never seen a horse sweat before so that was interesting! My husband and I absolutely loved it though, the views were incredible and the horses were easy to ride and super fun. Honestly, we loved this more than our atv tour. Would 10/10 recommend! You won’t regret it!

5.00This is perhaps one of the best ways to see the more remote parts of the Arikok National Park, allowing for closeup views of the plants, wildlife and landscape. I'm not the most experienced rider, but our Rancho Loco guides were very attentive and engaged, and they gave great advice. The Natural Pool was beautiful with a wide variety of tropical fish, and the horses felt inspired to canter on the way back to the ranch, making for a pretty exciting ride.

5.00It was a great trail ride. Very cool terrain, very cool ranch and great guides. A friendly atmosphere and overall it was very enjoyable. It’s windy so make sure to hold on to your hats!

5.00This was an amazing way to experience Arikok National Park without renting a 4x4! We loved getting to swim in the natural pool and see the beautiful landscape. Even though we had minimal prior experience with riding horses, they made us feel very comfortable the entire time, and the horses seemed very well taken care of. Highly recommend!
