From the ranch you will be taken on a 2 hour guided horseback riding tourthrough the 'Cunucu' or Aruban countryside free of streets and traffic. You will take a new rail through the typical cacti country to a big rockformation. If you are able to climb you can get on top to enjoy a great view. After the ride continues to the rough Northeast coast where you will visit one of the many small beaches .Than to continue to watch the beautiful aruban SUNSET from atop of a hill , spectacular 360 degrees views . - all skill levels are welcome!
Galloping is not allowed!
After the ride come and enjoy a cold drink we have for sale at our cozy country Bar.
Free round trip transportation Palm beach / eagle beach area Hotels / condo's / Tierra del Sol area ,Cruise ship terminal and renaissance hotels is included.

The driver will leave after 5 minutes after pick up time at you pick up location. please be on time. we can only reschedule you at extra cost if there is availability

Refunds will not be issued if tour / activity is missed due to late arrival at the ranch or pick up location or NO-SHOW

Your driver will pick you up from your Aruba hotel or cruise port (approx 10 minute drive) and will bring you to the ranch which is located a short 5 minutes from most major hotels at the Palm Beach area. The ranch itself is situated in the typical countryside of Aruba. Once at the ranch will complete the waivers and your tour guide will give instructions and get you mounted on your horse, From there the adventure begins! The guide will check how well you and others control their horses and take it from there. You will be taken though the countryside to the North East coast, winding your way to a big rock formation.where after you go to the rugged coast line where the waves crash wildly onto the rocky shores and visit along a small beach. taking pictures is highly recommended. On return the guide will take you up a hill to experience the mesmerizing views of the Island enjoying our beautiful Aruban SUNSET. Make sure to bring your camera to capture the great views and to take memorable pictures. After the ride you we have drinks for sale at the ranch bar before you are driven back to your hotel, cruise port or the Palm Beach area.

1.00We recently booked a 2-hour horseback ride in Aruba, and while the scenery was undeniably beautiful, the overall experience was deeply concerning. The horses appeared very old and poorly cared for. The stables were dirty and unkempt, which immediately raised concerns about their welfare. During the ride, my horse fell three times. While the terrain is indeed rocky, it was evident that the horse was nervous and not well-suited for the conditions. What was most troubling was the handler’s behavior. He repeatedly approached my horse yelling instructions, which clearly frightened the animal. Each time he came near, the horse became more agitated and even bolted to get away from him. Outside of these interactions, I had no difficulty managing the horse, making it clear that the issue was not rider control but the stress being placed on the animal. We were also given sticks to prompt the horses to move, which felt unnecessary given that the horses responded calmly when treated gently. When I mentioned that my horse was doing fine and didn’t require intervention, the guide dismissed my concern and continued shouting. I also raised concerns that the horse seemed older and in need of patience, but was told—implausibly—that it was young and already on its third ride of the day in intense heat. The ride itself takes place through a very hot, rocky desert landscape. While visually stunning, it felt inappropriate for horses that appeared fatigued and poorly conditioned. Finally, the owner of the ranch was noticeably unfriendly and unwelcoming, which added to the negative impression. While the natural beauty of Aruba made parts of this experience enjoyable, the apparent condition of the horses and the handling practices were distressing. I would strongly encourage others to consider animal welfare when choosing a tour operator.

5.00Mr. Nelson was our guide. He did a great job leading us on our adventure. He took lots of amazing photos of my husband and I, so we can remember this adventure for years to come. We even fed the horses some snacks when we got back. Feeding the horses is extra but only a few bucks so don’t miss out on that. They even picked us up at our hotel and brought us back no extra charge.

5.00I love horseback riding and this was definitely one of the best times! Although the water was choppy it was extremely beautiful crashing on to rocks! I loved the ranch was cute! At the end they give you the option of giving your horse a treat!

5.00LOVED LOVED LOVED this horseback ride!!! First of all, the staff at Rancho Notorious is amazing. So kind and sweet and treated us like family. Secondly, the horses were FANTASTIC. Not a single issue or "scary moment" with either of them. And then the ride itself was awesome - through desert rocky landscape down to the ocean. And our guide made the ride even more special by stopping at various points and taking pictures for us. He really is the best. Note: My wife had never ridden a horse before and she was totally comfortable and she loved it. This horseback ride is THE ONE to choose in Aruba.

5.00This is our second time with Rancho Notorious! I was terrified of riding a horse.until we met our guide Nelson in March 2025 and another lovely guide in Oct 2025! They are phenomenal! The gorgeous scenery in the hills feeling the constant trade wind seeing the cactus and other wonderful plants was so refreshing! Then you arrive at the ocean around sunset and that was breathtaking! We will return in March for the same tour! Each time I see or notice something different

5.0010/10 must do trail! easy, horses are fun and easy going, very sweet and you can feed them a snack after the trail! was my husband and i’s first time on horseback, got easy and clear instructions on how to get on and how to ride the horse. went during our honeymoon and got to see a beautiful sunset and walk by the ocean. overall such a peaceful trail. tour guide was very sweet and fun, made sure to wait if a horse was taking its own pace and would always check in with everyone. the horses know what they’re doing and make sure to follow the trail of the lead. was truly an amazing experience, will do again next time in aruba!

3.00Horse ride was fine. The scenery was interesting. Biggest issue was it was labeled as a sunset ride but we done before the sun even set. Picked up at 440 and back at the hotel by 650. We watched the sun set from our hotel room at the StRegis lol
