We’ll pick you up at the cruise port in a private vehicle with a bilingual guide, a native of Roatán, who will also be your driver for the day. Throughout the tour, your guide will share the island’s rich history and culture. Start with a 45-minute horseback ride along the beach in Flowers Bay, a peaceful area with stunning coastal views. The ride takes place in a private, safe setting, allowing you to relax and enjoy the scenery. Next, explore the highlights of West End Village. You’ll have the option to stop and enjoy local cuisine at recommended restaurants (meals not included). Afterward, visit the Chocolate Factory to learn about and taste artisanal chocolates, followed by a stop at the Rum Factory for panoramic views and a taste of their renowned rum and rum cakes. This tour blends adventure, culture, and flavor for a memorable Roatán experience. We’ll ensure you return to the port with plenty of time before your cruise departs.

Our party of 4 had an amazing, fun-filled excursion in Roatan, Honduras, thanks to our incredible guide, Nathan! He wasn't just a tour guide; he was the heart and soul of our island adventure, ensuring we had the best time from the moment he picked us up until we reluctantly said goodbye. 🌴 Nathan curated the perfect day for our group of four, effortlessly blending fun and flexibility. He was flexible throughout the day when we wanted to stop for a quick snack and coffee break, kept us on schedule, the horseback riding on the beach was so much fun, sipping delicious samples at the rum tour, and indulging our sweet tooth at the chocolate factory. 🍫🐎 We soaked up all the local knowledge he shared, grabbing souvenirs and making memories at every stop. Honestly, I didn't expect to like Roatan as much as I did, but Nathan's expertise and easygoing charm made the island a stop we cannot wait to visit again. He spoke fluent English and Spanish, making communication a breeze and the entire experience seamless. We cannot recommend him enough! My daughter and I had a wonderful time with our tour guide Diana, who made us feel safe and welcomed to beautiful Roatan. She made sure we had everything we needed and we were very comfortable with her. Our experience was personalized to our liking and we fully enjoyed every bit of our tour. I was unsure about booking via Viator instead of cruise line excursion, but I am so glad we did. Our tour guide Diana was so wonderful! She made our experience so much better. She is warm and welcoming, genuine, personable and informative. She wanted to make our experience the best possible and made lots of suggestions along the way. I highly recommend any tour with Diana!!

Our tour guide was amazing! The whole experience felt very intimate but informative as the tour guide knew all the hidden gems around the island. I would highly recommend them as they accommodate our every need, especially on our birthday.

There was a brief walk from the ship to meet up with our tour guide who was waiting for us. We had our own vehicle which was clean, spacious, and air-conditioned, making the tour comfortable and relaxing—we could explore at our own pace without feeling rushed. Our driver/guide, Alfredo, was warm, welcoming, and always professional. He didn’t hesitate to let us know he was willing to take us to areas and places of our interest, making the tour feel completely tailored to us. A nice surprise was when I mentioned wanting good espresso—he took us to Bean Crazy, a charming coffee shop with an amazing brew and a calm, relaxing atmosphere. Bean Crazy serves lunch as well (the Pollo Chuco was delicious!🤌)We enjoyed taking a break there and soaking in the local vibe. We visited the Roatán Chocolate Factory and the Roatán Rum Factory, where we learned about the chocolate-making process, sampled delicious treats, tasted flavorful rum varieties, and there were nice views for pictures. The horseback ride was a nice, relaxing way to see the island at a slower pace. The ride was about 45 minutes. We briefly strolled through a residential area and then reached the beach, where we walked along the shoreline. The horses were sweet and gentle. We had plenty of time for shopping, pictures, and taking in the scenery. If you’re visiting Roatán and want a personalized, stress-free experience that lets you see the island’s best spots while learning from a local this is the tour to do that. Alfredo made our tour very special. He went above and beyond with the day and was dedicated to our family. We were treated like celebrities and enjoyed his little surprises along the way. Make sure you request Alfredo. We will be booking again!

Cynthia was very friendly and helpful. She went out of her way to make the trip as personal and individual as possible. She made the day all about us. Ten out of ten recommendation. She has great recommendations for lunch. We even invited her to join us for lunch. Spent the time in casual conversation. Entertaining and knowledgeable. The horses were well taken care of and you could tell they were loved. Great afternoon all the way around!

Cute step away from the cruise to tour Roaton. We did the horseback ride, chocolate and rum tasting excursion. Phil was our personal tour guide and did a great job sharing fun facts about the area and bringing us safely back to the ship.
