5.00My guide was a wonderful story teller. The hike was just beautiful. In spite of the clouds and impending rain, we only had minutes here and there of drizzle. A raincoat and waterproof shoes were a must to keep dry.

5.00We booked the Howth hiking excursion with Howth Adventures through Viator, and it turned out to be one of the highlights of our trip to Dublin. The route took us along stunning cliffside paths, up to the top of Howth with breathtaking panoramic views of Dublin Bay, and then back down into town. Every step offered something new and beautiful. Our guide, Zack, was fantastic. He’s incredibly knowledgeable about the history, nature, and hidden gems of the area, but what stood out most was how easygoing and passionate he is. You can tell he genuinely loves what he does, and that enthusiasm made the whole experience even better. Adding even more charm to the day was Zack’s friendly dog, Loki. Loki quickly became part of the group, posing for photos like a seasoned pro and bringing lots of smiles along the way. This excursion struck the perfect balance of exercise, scenery, and storytelling. I can’t recommend it highly enough. If you’re anywhere near Dublin, do yourself a favor and book this tour. It’s an experience you’ll remember long after your trip.

5.00Shane is absolutely amazing. He's very engaging with everyone in your group, inquires about the group's experience levels and ensures a fantastic day for all. The topper though are his life experience stories. If given the option, make sure Loki joins you. Truly a wonder dog. Such a friendly, fun addition. Karl & Julie

5.00The views were amazing, we were lucky to experience hiking in rain and in the sun, it was really unique and beautiful. The guide was so friendly and smart! I didn’t notice how time passed. I was there with my mom and it wasn’t hard for her to complete the tour it is great as she hadn’t gone hiking before.

5.00Rob was a phenomenal guide , we hiked approximately 6 - 7 miles over various terrain from flat to rocky areas with steps, we fortunately had beautiful weather, the views were spectacular. Suggestions: dress accordingly with good footwear. This hike isn’t for the faint of heart.

5.00We happened to have a private tour so that means we got to know so much about Ireland. Shane is very knowledgeable and time flew by. The 10km hike is the best because you see a lot more. Highly recommend :) !

5.00It was so amazing to see so much of Howth in the company of such a genuine guide. I took this tour as part of my first solo trip and could not recommend it more. We got to see and learn about so many different aspects of the area!

5.00We had a fantastic day hiking with Zack and his energetic Hungarian Vizsla, Loki. Our journey was a scenic six-mile round-trip, beginning and ending in the heart of the village. The hike took about three hours at a comfortable, steady pace, with a few moderately steep sections that added just the right amount of challenge. Zack was an outstanding guide—knowledgeable, friendly, and clearly passionate about the area. He made plenty of time for photo stops and shared fascinating insights into the local history and landscape. It was especially inspiring to hear how his family-founded company, Howth Adventures, grew from a personal passion into a mission to share and protect the natural beauty of this stunning region. Highly recommended!
