A Hudson River Narration is given along the way, sharing historical anecdotes and recalling interesting facts about the history of Albany and surrounding area. Bring binoculars to spot eagles or just sit back and enjoy the nature views and historic houses that line the riverbanks. Boarding begins 30 mins prior to departure. 5.00This cruise was well worth the (modest) cost. The Dutch Apple vessel is spacious and comfortable. My husband and I are both seniors, with my husband having significant mobility issues. He was able to navigate onto the boat and get seated without much difficulty. The crew and captain (Captain Frank) made sure everyone was well cared for throughout the entire cruise. The cruise was family friendly and there were children aboard who seemed to be enjoying themselves. The Hudson River can fill an entire chapter in American history and Captain Frank did a wonderful job narrating, starting with the Dutch settlers to modern day use of the Albany port. The scenery was beautiful, the shoreline a mix of industrial and classic Victorian era homes. Adult and non-alcoholic beverages are available for purchase, along with light bar fare. We highly recommend this cruise and company.

5.00I was in town for a few days for a dog related event, and thought this cruise was a wonderful way to spend an afternoon, and a great opportunity to expose my dog to something new. I want to start off by saying that my dog isn't comfortable with strangers in his personal space so I was a bit apprehensive, but as an experienced dog handler, I decided to give it a shot. The cruise couldn't have been better. The crew staff did all the right things by not only respecting his "Do Not Pet" harness, but also, ignored him altogether and respected his need for space (which, for a fearful dog, is the best and kindest thing you can do for them). Thank you! The boat cruise itself was beautiful and relaxing. We sat on the top deck and took in the sights. The Captain shared a lot of interesting facts and pointed out bald eagles (if you're into that). The cruise offers food and drinks, including table service, which is a really nice touch. I would absolutely recommend booking a cruise with them. You'll be well taken care of! Until next time Dutch Apple Cruises!

5.00The cruise is a simple and well cultivated five star experience. I felt one hundred percent lifted after the cruise. You can purchase fast food, coffee, and other beverages. The Captain and ship crew were professional and friendly. I would have to insist that you take advantage of the experience.

5.00This boat had plenty of outdoor space, the captain and crew were friendly, and best of all, it was pet-friendly! We brought our dog, who didn't seem to care about the sights at all, but definitely enjoyed the wind. This was such a nice, relaxing experience, and the narration goes over a lot of history along the Hudson waterfront. The captain would often stop the narration to point out bald eagles, which I appreciated. I highly recommend this tour for anyone who loves being out on the water and is looking for chill vibes.

5.00We were inn the area visiting our college son and the three of us took this cruise after visiting the USS Slater right next door. We loved it! The Captain was friendly and kept us looking- and finding - bald eagles. The narration was informative and interesting and the ability to buy drinks and snack a great bonus. We would definetly recommend this tour!

3.00Nothing to jump up and down about. Relaxing 90min cruise. Other passengers were very nice. The crew did take good care of us.
