This isn't just "old jewelry." The Holy Crown of Hungary has a history more dramatic than a Netflix series—it’s been stolen, buried, lost, and returned by the U.S. government. You will stand in the massive, 27-meter-high Dome Hall, watched over by stoic guards with drawn sabers, to see the crown and its tilted cross up close. It’s the symbolic heart of the nation.
You’ll ascend the Grand Stairway, a space so opulent it makes most European palaces look like a DIY renovation. Imagine walking past massive granite columns—of which only 12 exist in the entire world—under ceilings painted by Károly Lotz. Every inch of the walls is covered in gold leaf and intricate frescoes that tell the story of a thousand-year-old kingdom.

4.00The tour itself was great as the parliament building is amazing. The coordination and check in for the tour was awful. Trip advisor said it starts at 2:30 but you must be there at 2:00 and will meet trip advisory person with a big sign. No one came until 2:20 and no sign. You checked and then we were told to come back at 2:30 . They came back out at2:30 and gave us our tickets and said tour starts at 2:45 when gates open and you start to go through security. A lot of wasted time and waiting around

5.00Tour of this extraordinary parliament complex was perfect. Right amount of info without overload. Building and workmanship spectacular! The Viator pickup situation for tickets could have been somewhat clearer — two of the communications conflicted as far as timing. BE SURE to get there 15+ min before your time — but be aware that the Viator “ticket/guides” might not be there for awhile…

4.00Parliament was magnificent. Trip Advisor contact advised us to be there at 2pm. She didn’t show up until almost 220pm to take names and hand out tickets to about 24 people for a 245pm tour slot. Made it stressful. Just made the slot. If you tell people to be there at 2pm then the rep should be there at 2pm.

4.00Very nice city to see. Hotels are not expensive unlike tours and restaurants. Free public transport from 65 years old. Yeah.

5.00It is such a beautiful building, well worth a visit. Very good audio as you were moved through the parliament into each area. It was stunning with all the gold finish. Plenty of time to take photos. Definitely book in advance.

3.00The leadership wsr very snug and good. The procedure for card preservation can be improved and ends in stress!!, since they wait until the last one is there and then it gets hectic. The pickup info should be in the front of the reminder emsil. Lg
