Shinsekai
Time permitting, we’ll take a short stroll around Shinsekai—an often-overlooked area packed with hidden gems, fun facts, and sights to discover.
Tsutenkaku
Walk past Tsutenkaku, the famous landmark tower that is the focal point of the area and see where kushikatsu all began. Walk through the streets that over a century ago, were designed to bring a western feeling to Osaka.

5.00We had a great time on this food tour. Anna, our guide, was excellent regarding communication and where to meet up. We found the tour to be extremely enjoyable as Anna was very welcoming to the group, was very informative about the history of the area and of the local food and it’s origins. Highly recommend for a fun evening!

5.00Had a great time with our guide and smaller than average sized group of 6 travelers (9-10 is the usual size according to the guide). Osaka food and culture were explained in just enough detail to keep things interesting and the group moving to each new spot in a timely manner- also allowing time for questions. There’s high potential to be slightly/ pretty drunk if you finish every drink at each location depending on tolerance, but no one in our group felt any pressure to drink alcohol as non alcoholic options are easily available. Overall every minute of the tour was enjoyable and we became friends with the other travelers in our group (3 from UK, 1 from Azerbaijan, and 2 US) within the first 20 minutes (drinks do help the conversation). This was a great way of easing into foreign foods and culture as a first time Japan visitor. Very charming and personable guide who spoke perfect English!

5.00Andy gave as an informative dining experience of what Osaka had to offer. The restaraunts all had something special to offer and all the food was delicious.. Andy's rapport with the locals added to the experience as was getting his perspective on life in Osaka. We cannot recommend this highly enough. Make sure you don't miss out. This could be your best dining experience in Japan

5.00The tour provides an overview of life in Osaka and the food culture. Tour was conducted with in a small area , so not too much walking aftet an already busy day of walking Guide Davin was fun and informative
