Join us on the hunt for the northern lights and explore Kiruna to Abisko. Our guides use the weather & northern lights (aurora borealis) forecast to predict the best locations to have the highest probability to see northern lights. Northern lights is a natural phenomenon and changes constantly the same as the wild nature. Our guides do everything in their power to guide you to northern lights but sometimes it´s not possible due to weather conditions.
If you are a photographer you are in good hands as we always try to find good spots for photography. Tripod is needed to photograph Northern lights as you need long shuttertime.
We make a short introduction of the tour and how it works. Then buckle up and the hunt for the Northern lights has began for the night.
Always small groups of maximum 7 people invites to a genuine experience to remember for a long time.

5.00We travelled to Kiruna in Jan '24 for a very short time with the goal of seeing the Northern Lights and learning more about Lapland and the culture. We booked a tour Hunt for the Northern Lights in Kiruna - Abisko. The forecast for being able to see the lights was not promising, but our guide Erik said that he would do his best. We headed out to Abisko to a location that had been good in the past. The van was clean and comfortable. Erik was interesting, informative and very personable. He spoke excellent English and was a world traveler himself. He checked the sky and his phone (connected to a sky cam) several times and strongly suggested that we head to the second location right away. We did and we are so glad that he was so on top of the conditions. We saw the lights during a 10 min break in the clouds, and they were spectacular! We stopped for a campfire and some local treats on the way back which was a fun way to end the night. We Greatly enjoyed our tour and believe that without Erik and his local knowledge and commitment to getting us the best possible experience, we would not have had the ephemeral experience of seeing the northern lights in person. Thank You Erik, It was awesome!!

5.00Happen to took the tour on the day of strong solar activity and saw the beautiful northern lights. Our guide Reiznis was very friendly and patience during the tour. We got hot juice and sandwich when we were in the wild, which helped with dealing with the extreme cold. I also borrowed warm clothes from the company, which really helped with keeping me warm since normal winter clothes I wore wasn't enough in this condition.
