  Everything was great organized by Naomi and Ben, it was a hell of an experience to drive the dogs through the snowy forest, you always felt safe, and afterwards Naomi’s sympathetic parents would treat you to coffee, tea and cookies by the fire and it was a pleasure to talk to them.

  We had the most amazing experience with Oatfield Husky Sled Ride and can’t recommend Naomi and Ben highly enough! From the moment we arrived, they made us feel really welcome. It’s clear they are incredibly dedicated to their huskies and genuinely love what they do. The whole setup feels personal and authentic — not at all commercialised — which made the experience even more special. Naomi took us out on the sled run herself and was so knowledgeable about everything to do with huskies — breeding, racing, training, diet — we learned so much while enjoying the ride. As the huskies are trained to race, and the run was their training field, either Ben or Naomi are the drivers. As a result the run they took us on was truly exhilarating! This is not a run where the public take the reins, and neither should it be, as safety and wellbeing of the dogs and people is the priority. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking with stunning snow covered pine forests, and snow covered landscape, complete with reindeer walking across the frozen lake, it all felt like something out of a magical wonderland! They also provided extremely warm clothing, boots, mittens — everything we needed to stay comfortable in the cold. And to top it all off, we were treated to a delicious meal afterwards, which was the perfect end to an incredible experience. If you're looking for a genuine, unforgettable husky sled adventure in Sweden, this is the one to book. Truly outstanding!

  Hugely enjoyed a fantastic trip with the huskies in a fairytale snow landscape. After the trip we could warm ourselves by the hair fire with a delicious stew and in the company of the guides we could talk some more. Ben & Naomi and their crew (Matej and Luna) create a cosy and family atmosphere... An unforgettable experience and an absolute must for a winter holiday in Sweden:-)

  Like many before me wrote it was a great experience! When we arrived the dogs were already waiting for us. After getting dressed up with some proper winter gear Naomi took us to the dogs. The dogs immediately started getting excited and after some instructions all the dogs where introduced and were ready to be harnessed. The first meters were going very fast, as Naomi told us the dogs have to release their excitement. From the back of the sleigh Naomi keeps a close eye on all the individual dogs. Some need more attention then others. During the ride you learn a lot about the dogs and the area where you are. Never knew that dogs can be so strong and have so much energy. You really can tell the wellbeing of the dogs is the highest priority. The enthusiasm of the dogs cannot be faked. All the dogs, also the ones in the kennel are very social and like the attention when you pet them and they get a proper snack. Afterwards you get some tea or coffee and some food around the fire. There is also a good time to talk about the tour and the lifestyle up north in Sweden.

  We did this sledge tour with the huskies together with our friends. This tour was definitely worth the money. The dogs are loved by the owner and are very well cared for. Beautiful fairytale trip through the snowy forests. After the trip we got a delicious meal (stew) and coffee / tea. Got a lot of info from the owners.   We had an amazing time at Oatfield Huskies. Our hosts Ben and Naomi were genuinely warm, funny, and incredibly welcoming - exactly the kind of people who turn a great experience into an unforgettable one. Their hospitality made us feel completely at home. The dogs were amazing with their love of running shining through. We also got to meet some of the puppies and they are absolutely stunning and friendly. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking. The whole day felt like being invited into someone’s home rather than booking an activity. Couldn’t recommend it highly enough - unforgettable.

  Thank you very much for this great sleigh ride. It was very interesting and so much fun. You can see there very much that the dogs are absolutely in the foreground and everyone there loves and lives the dogs, just great. Thanks also to Ben who drove our sled for the great entertainment during the tour.

  We toured in the forest and around the lake with Naomi and her incredible pack of dogs ! Little did we know that she is a racing champion. We also had genuinely good food and conversation.

  Very well organized sleigh ride. You get thick shoes, gloves and a jumpsuit that can be pulled over your own clothes. Afterwards, you could pet the lovely and affable huskies. Everyone very sweet.
