Written and delivered by established professional Irish actors, this jam-packed performance celebrates all things Cork within the one of the city’s most historic Buildings. Over two hours, discover the highlights of Cork’s long history and become acquainted with a county full of quirky characters, their habits, humour, and language. Enjoy local Cork food and drinks, served up with live music and plenty of personality as you engage with the actors. 5.00We all need a laugh, particularly at the moment and Hysterical Histories delivered in spades.It was an exhilarating hilarious roller coaster ride through the history of Cork. The show was very sharp, fast paced and in pantomime style but don't be fooled, you'll come away with brimming with knowledge about Cork and possibly a pain in your jaw from laughing. There was a huge mix of cultures and ages in the audiences and you could see and hear that everyone was highly entertained. The food was also top notch. Great evenings entertainment, would highly recommend it !

5.00As a history student I can say, that the actresses and actors of Hysterical Histories Cork were presenting the history of Cork (and Ireland in general) in a hilarious way, while still giving loads of information. Even as a non-native English speaker I was able to understand everything and therefore could learn and laugh a lot. The traditional Irish food was not just tasty, it even was introduced in a very funny way. You could see and feel, that the actresses and actors were having a great time themselves, which made the experience even better. It was such a lovely way to present history to an audience of any age and previous knowledge.

5.00This was my fourth visit of the show and if that fact alone doesn't tell you enough, let me say the following: This show is the perfect choice for a relaxed, fun and memorable night out in Cork - all while also leaning about history and fun facts of the city and Ireland in general. The actresses and actors provide such a nice and welcoming atmosphere that you might not want to leave in the end. So, if you are looking for an evening filled with great food, so much laughter and loads of fascinating insights into history this show is the place to be!

3.00Lots of history in the show but a bit cheesy. Almost like an elementary school play. Also if you’re going to talk about delicious bread with stew maybe serve bread with the stew.

5.00Went to this on a date as a local and didn’t expect that I would learn so much! The team is highly talented and hilarious as well. Loved the whole Expirence and the team were kind and professional!! Highly recommended!
