Our catamaran takes you to the island of Icacos. Disembark and find yourself at a beautiful beach with crystal clear blue water. The catamaran will stay at the beach until after lunch. During that time you can beach comb, swim or just relax on the beach in this beautiful Caribbean setting. After lunch we sail to a reef where you can snorkel around the reef to see tropical fishes and coral. Then we hoist our sail for a relaxing sail back to the dock

The drive to Villa Marina is about 1 to 1 1/2 hours from San Juan. Please check in at the dock by 8:30 am at the latest.

We need to be informed in advance by phone if you are bringing a certified service dog. Dog must have service dog tag/ID.

If we need to cancel the charter due to weather you will not be charged. All determinations about weather cancellations are made by our captain. We watch the weather on an hourly basis, and in the tropics the weather is often locally specific. Please do not make the mistake of deciding not to arrive to your excursion because you think the weather might not be acceptable, as you will be charged as a no-show if the trip goes out.

NO refund for NO SHOW or late arrival.

Minimum age is 4 years old. We will require proof of age.

Please note that check-in at the dock is at 8:30 am at the latest. Our signature experience aboard the Barefoot IV Catamaran is a must-do while visiting the Enchanted Island of Puerto Rico. Guests will enjoy a 45-minute sail to Icacos Island or one of the breathtaking surrounding islands of the Fajardo Keys. Swim, sunbathe, play with our beach toys, or collect shells on a deserted island. Take advantage of our flotation belts in the crystal-clear Caribbean water while sipping on a refreshing piña colada. Our catamaran arrives and anchors at Icacos Island. You can swim at the beach in clear blue waters using our complimentary floating devices. In the afternoon, after lunch, we sail to the Reef for snorkeling. If you have other dietary restrictions, please contact the local operator immediately after booking. Vegetarian options are included in the buffet.

I have to say, everything was perfect. What a great team! Everything was much better than we expected. We had an unforgettable day. Very punctual, good communication, excellent food. Hector was the best bartender. We recommend them 100%.

This was hands-down one of the most beautiful experiences in Puerto Rico. From the moment we boarded, everything felt effortless, well-organized, and genuinely elevated. The catamaran was clean, spacious, and comfortable, with plenty of room to relax and take in the stunning Caribbean views. The ride out to Icacos was gorgeous — that unreal turquoise water you see in photos is 100% real. The team onboard was warm, professional, and attentive the entire time. They made sure everyone felt safe, taken care of, and able to fully enjoy the day. Snorkeling was fantastic: clear water, colorful fish, and a calm, enjoyable pace (great for both beginners and experienced snorkelers). And then Icacos… absolutely breathtaking. Soft sand, crystal-clear water, and the kind of scenery that feels like a postcard. The picnic/lunch was a lovely touch and exactly what you want on a day like this — easy, satisfying, and paired with a relaxed, fun atmosphere. Overall, it felt like a perfect balance of adventure and luxury: beautiful locations, great vibes, and a crew that truly knows what they’re doing. If you’re visiting Puerto Rico and want one unforgettable day on the water — book this. I would do it again in a heartbeat.

Such a fun day. The team were amazing and the food and drinks were outstanding. My kids and I had a great time on the beach and snorkeling. Highly recommend this tour.

Honestly this tour exceeded my expectations! From the boat crew, the food, the snorkeling, the beautiful views, I can’t speak more highly of the tour. Also the crew is so attentive and make you feel so welcomed. Definitely a must do in PR!

Had a wonderful time. The boat is very clean, as is the equipment. Staff is very friendly and the food and drinks were good. The water was beautiful and we were able to see a ton of fish. Even if you don't know how to swim you can stay on the shallow sand closer to the beach with no problem and they will help you get on and off of the boat.

Very friendly crew, decent lunch and plenty of drinks included as well as music and a happy atmosphere. Icacos island is very pretty though about 3-4 other boats arrive at this island for similar cruises. and great the catamaran is not a huge boat and we probably had 30 ppl on the tour making seating a little bit scarce. Tour meeting point was easy to find with plenty of parking available and good communication from the tour staff. . Highlight was snorkeling with a very friendly dolphin who came over to our boat! Otherwise the reef was nothing special, but overall a good way to get out on a boat for a bit if you’re in the San Juan area.
