Taking a journey through Iceland´s most beautiful natural treasures and get in touch with nature by seeing and feeling the ancient ice beneath your feet.

We operate in all weather. Wear appropriate clothing (no refunds are given if you come unprepared). Wear warm, yet breathable waterproof clothing and hiking boots. Wear hiking boots that cover your ankles and offer good ankle support.
Important: We offer boot and rain jacket rentals at the meeting point. If you are not properly dressed, you may be required to rent gear from us or, in extreme cases, be denied participation for safety reasons.
Group size is usually 8 people, if the group is larger than 8 people we add another guide to the tour.

Please note: We have crampons that are designed to fit shoe sizes EU 35–48 (approximately 22.5–31 cm). Children must have feet within this size range in order to participate in the tour.
It is cold on the glacier and this tour operates on windy and rainy days. Wear appropriate clothing (no refunds are given if you come unprepared).

The harness sizes is can be adjusted to maximum 126cm.

5.00The tour was nice to see the glacier and get to know some information about the glaciers and nature of Iceland. Barbara was well informed and an enthousiastic tour guide. You do get to walk on the edge of the glacier, but not too far, which makes it very approachable for any fitness condition. If you can walk, you can do this tour. You get the ice spikes so just wear sturdy shoes.

5.00It was beautiful and I am happy to have carried it out. We had beautiful weather and our guide was great, he was really patient with our group! For next time I wouldn't dress too warm and have little luggage. My backpack was full of things you don't need.
It's definitely worth it.

5.00Javier our guide was really great, his humor had no equal in Iceland! he explains everything and gives plenty of anecdotes especially about the mills and others (I let you discover what it is) on the return we could even pretend to drive his huge 4x4 that was used to go to the start of the hike, then we went on the glacier with the crampons (by the way I advise you jacket pants and shoes completely waterproof, they rent them if necessary ) after a good little walk we arrived in the ice cave. Amazing day to do at least once!

He’s super friendly, easy to hear, and shares his passion along with lots of interesting extra information about Vatnajökull. Come and go with him to take the best photos and chill in the ice caves. 5.00This tour was by far the best part of our trip to Iceland. The glacier was amazing! It was so much fun to spend several hours observing different structures (caves, holes, crevices, etc.). Everyone in my family loved it (two teens and two middle-aged adults)! Valentin and Barbara were both great guides - showing us lots of interesting things and keeping everyone safe. They also helped everyone take amazing family photos with the gorgeous blue background. Finally, communication was fantastic before the trip with timely email responses to questions. Highly recommend!
