• ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Outstanding Ice Climbing Experience – Highlight of my trip!!!

  I cannot recommend this experience highly enough, largely thanks to my guide Robin Grein, who was absolutely outstanding from start to finish. I initially booked the beginner ice climbing session, having little prior experience. Robin immediately put me at ease with clear, structured instruction, excellent safety briefings, and a calm, encouraging teaching style. He explained the techniques in a way that was easy to understand and tailored the session perfectly to my ability, building confidence quickly while keeping everything safe and well controlled. The equipment was top-class, the location was stunning, and the overall organisation was seamless. The experience was so good that I later booked a one-to-one, more advanced session and it exceeded expectations even further. The personalised coaching allowed us to push into more technical climbing, refine technique, and really maximise time on the ice. Robin’s depth of knowledge, attention to detail, and genuine passion for climbing really stood out. He constantly adjusted the session to match my progress, ensuring it was both challenging and hugely rewarding. What truly sets Robin apart is his professionalism combined with a friendly, motivating approach. He is extremely knowledgeable, safety-focused, patient, and genuinely invested in helping you improve and enjoy the experience. Both sessions were highlights of my trip and easily some of the best outdoor guiding I’ve experienced. If you’re considering ice climbing in Abisko — whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to progress — book this experience and ask for Robin Grein. You will not be disappointed.   A truly unforgettable experience! The two guides were very friendly and professional, providing detailed instructions. There are several climbing routes of varying difficulty, and each person can experience at least one or two routes. It's great for groups of friends to participate together, as it's exciting to encourage each other, since it can be a bit tiring if it's your first time climbing.

  First time trying ice climbing it was a very good and unique experience and had a nice time. The staff was on time kind but the guide Sini was very nice and helpful when I was doing the climbing. I will try it again for sure.

  The Ice climbing was an amazing experience. All of the guides did an amazing job. Our guide, Sini, was excellent. Calm, professional, and very reassuring, she helped us relax and fully enjoy the climb. A thrilling and memorable activity that I would highly recommend.

  I had a lot of fun on the Ice Climbing Experience by Abisko Adventure. They supplied the shoes, crampons and axes needed for every participant, gave a detailed explanation of how to ice climb and were very supportive as I struggled up the ice. It was a fairly small group which was nice, the other people were also very encouraging to each other creating a great atmosphere. The staff provided a warm drink in a free mug which was great whilst watching the others do their best to climb. I finished the experience tired but accomplished. Thanks to everyone who made it a great experience.

  Tons of fun trying out ice climbing for the first time thanks to our guides Rebecca & Eric! Waaaay harder than it looked when Eric did the first demo but Rebecca was super supportive on belay and saved me probably ten times when I didn't get my crampons stuck fully in the ice before trying to stand... We got to try two different routes and had a little break for some warm lingonberry juice. Met some of my closest friends on the trip during this tour! Would recommend, come prepared for a workout!!!
