Your ice fishing adventure begins at the pick-up point in Tromsø, where you’ll set off on a scenic drive to the fishing spot. From there, you’ll take a short walk down to the frozen fjord and experience the thrill of fishing on Arctic ice.

You’ll have the unique opportunity to catch your own fish in one of Norway’s most stunning natural settings. After your fishing session, you’ll head to the cozy basecamp, where you’ll learn how to clean, prepare, and cook your catch the traditional Norwegian way.

While you relax in the heart of the Arctic wilderness, you’ll hear fascinating local stories and gain insight into the region’s fishing culture and history.

Once you’ve enjoyed your freshly prepared meal and taken in the peaceful surroundings, you’ll return comfortably to the pick-up point in Tromsø.

Ice Fishing on Ullsfjord starts at the pick-up point in Tromsø. From there we will drive you to The fishing spot and walk down to the frozen sea. On this trip you will get a unique opportunity to catch your own fish. We will prepare the Fish With you, if you catch one. If we catch any fish, you will learn how to prepare and cook it. After the fishing trip we will drive to our basecamp and prepare a local meal with you. Our basecamp has a fantastic view of the Lyngen Alps. There will be told local stories, and you can relax in the middle of the arctic wilderness. When you have learned about our local history and are well rested, we will drive you back to the pick-up point i Tromsø. We will provide you with warm outerwear, fishing Equipment, Lunch, warm and Cold drinks. Guests must bring their own warm mittens, cap and underwear. Winter shoes are provided by special request.

The most amazing experience. Karin and Oskar were entertaining. The set up was wonderful. My friends and I thoroughly enjoyed the day. We each caught a fish (Atlantic Cod). Some more than 1.

Our guide was welcoming and authentic, shepherded us through the process so it was easy and fun. She knew a lot about the ice and the fish. Afterwards we cooked an amazing meal!

This was a truly amazing experience. My entire family enjoyed every moment. Easy pickup, snowshoeing to the center of the fjord, great equipment, they even thought to bring chairs! Lots of fun talking while fishing and then off to the owners home to eat our fish with more beautiful views. Can’t recommend enough!!!

Ice fishing was so much more fun than we expected. Karin is a great host and had great vibes. The other people that we got matched with were also fun and everyone had a good time. It was so amazing that we booked again with Karin. It requires a bit of patience, and even if you don't catch any fish, the views are amazing!

Amazing time in this activity !! We got lucky, the weather was beautiful ! Fun and nice moment all together ! If I could stay longer in Tromso, I’ll do it again without hesitation! We catch fews fish that we ate later ! Thanks a lot for everything !!
