The tour was just awesome :) Damir showed us his hometown as if we were friends and really enabled us to experience Sarajevo and not only see it. He took us through different points in history, to the different cultures, explained us the different religious backgrounds of the city, introduced us to local craftsmanship and definitely knows the most Sarajevo-style chevapi place in town. Sarajevo is where the East meets the West and we were able to experience that feeling because Damir showed us that this means more than mosques and churches or baklava and strudel ;) - it’s a way of collectivity that is unique to Sarajevo, to Bosnia and Hercegovina. Thanks so much for this experience!
