  This is definitely one of the best tours I have done ! I'm so soo glad I have booked with them because they made the day more special than what already was! My partner and I did the hike on the day of my Birthday and my partner proposed to me on the top looking at the crater. Our guide help us all the way and was extremely kind , helpful and just such a nice person . He made sure we saw the blue fires ( you have to be quite quick going up the hike if you want to make sure you see them as they go away when the sun goes up) , so he helped us all the way along and took many pictures and video for us at the blue fire . He recorded the proposal and had all the patience for us to be in the moment and enjoy the place. On the way down , when we reached the camp ground , our guide give me a Birthday cake as a surprise and sang me Happy Birthday which was so nice of him and I will never forget how special they made me feel. We also went to fruit market and our guide got me delicious fruit to try and bot me a bag to take home ! If you want to have the best time and someone that cares about the small things, I recommend them 10000% and you will not regret it ! Thank you so much for being part of this amazing day

  We went to Ijen in late April and this tour was amazing! Our guide was Pebri and he was so kind and knowledgeable. We were meant to be picked up at 2.30am to see the blue fire but it was closed as there were too many toxic gases where the blue fire normally is and the crater entry time was pushed back to 4am. So we changed our pickup to 6am as we needed some sleep and the only reason to get up early is to see the blue fire. Pebri and our driver Fredy had no problem with this and we're very accommodating. They were there right on time and brought us some food as well 👍 We drove to the crater parking which took about 30 mins and Pebri organised all the tickets and parking for us. We then started the hike up which is about 3.2km (5km around the rest of the rim) and 500mish of climbing. The views were amazing and Pebri pointed out the different mountains and how Ijen was formed. When we got to the top there was a lot of smoke from the crater so we couldn't see anything straight away. We put on our gas masks that Pebri bright for us where all the sulphur rock and mineral are and then walked around the rim of the crater. Pebri "whistled" the wind to come and blow the smoke away with a traditional Indonesian kind of "wind whistle", like a rain dance. It must have worked as eventually the wind came and blew way all the smoke and we got some fantastic pictures. Pebri knew exactly where to stand and how long to wait for. Turns out others had been waiting over 2 hours and we only had to wait 10 minutes whilst walking around the crater rim. Pebri took some awesome pictures and videos for us as well. When we were leaving, Pebri helped to book our ferry to Bali as well and then our taxi and second ferry to the hotel. He was so helpful. All in all a great experience, would definitely recommend to everyone who visits Java and especially Pebri, what a guide.

  Superb trip. We were picked up at 00.15 and driven to the start (which opens at 02.00). Our guide Jee was great and took good care of us, making sure we were safe and having a good time. The trek up took about 90 minutes, but we did it quite quickly. The climb down into the crater is about 30 mins, followed by impressive views of the blue fire and sulfur vents and miners. We then went back up the crater and to the sunrise viewpoint, which was beautiful. We were provided with good gas masks (absolutely essential). We were picked up earlier than stated (at our request), and they kindly dropped us off at the ferry terminal afterward. A note of caution - the hike isn't for the unfit, and can be steep and slippery at times. But it's well worth it. Great tour. Would book again.
