Fort San Pedro
Fort Sand Pedro was built to protect the city from invaders that threatened Iloilo such as Dutch and Moro pirates. The disrepair of the fort started in the early 20th century and was totally destroyed during World War II.
Museo Iloilo (Iloilo Museum)
The museum houses an impressive collection of Iloilo’s cultural heritage which includes stone age native pottery; fossils; jewelry; burial sites; trade pottery from China , Annam and Siam; era photos. Mementos and war relics; a British sunken ship; Spanish-era Filipino sculpture; and modern art done by Ilonggo artists and craftsmen.

1.00We paid around $140 per person to get an english guide an about 7 stops with entrance fees included. We got a driver who barely spoke english and only drove, he did not give any info about the stops at all even in ilonggo. After 3 stops he said tour was over after one more stop. I showed him our itinerary and he agreed to the other stops but said we had to pay the fees ourselves. Again i showed him our voucher which said fees included. After consulting with his boss he agreed. The tour did not provide what was promised, an english guide, not even a guide.

3.00Tried to explore good views of city its mixed old vs new parts. Nice plans cycletracks, walkways, greenery along the rivet, lights do jnot get enough time to explore. Old heritage buildings need renovation
