We do not have any control of the flow of tourists coming to the most visited island in the Caribbean during the busiest times of year.

El Yunque National Forest
Our day will begin with a moderate to medium level hike, discussing local flora/fauna native to Puerto Rico, as well as key roles these played in our indigenous roots on the island. FHike is about 20 min into the rainforest (approx. 1 mile, or 4 laps around a track.) Upon arrival, we will set any belongings we have brought with us to the side and continue up another 10 min (.25 miles) to the natural water slide where we will be swimming. Life vests will be provided. Once every guest goes down the water slide, we will return to where we left our belongings to enjoy some small but exciting jumps and rope swing. For all your hard work we will cut fresh seasonal fruit! All activities will be recorded and photos will be taken throughout your journey! Photos or it didn't happen!

Drive yourself/NO TRANSPORT
Meeting Point: Meetup will be at Frutera Flores (Carr. 3 km32) @ 7:45am, 11:45am. You will follow the guide in your vehicle to the trailhead
Duration: 4 hours: Shorter since you’ll have your own vehicle, the longer tour includes pickup/dropoff time
Your own vehicle: Same tour without transportation included. For locals or those who want to take advantage of their rental vehicle. NO UBER

5.00Sebas was great! He was very knowledgeable. He had a go pro that he used to take videos and pictures that he sent to us after. We had a bit of a hike, then we did the water slides, cliff jumping, and rope swing, followed by fresh cut fruit. We were lucky enough to have a very small group on the day we booked, so it was an even more personalized experience. Make sure to get a smoothie at the meet up location. When we got to the forest, Sebas recommended we leave everything in the car, except our phones, which we had in waterproof carriers. Make sure to wear water shoes that you can also navigate rocks in. They provide life jackets.

5.00Francis and this tour company took such good care of us right from the beginning. Their communication about what to expect and pick up time at our hotel was wonderful. Francis, our tour guide, was fun, attentive and helpful. He made sure we all had such a good time and were able to navigate the muddy hike in and out of the rain forest and swim site. Make sure to get Francis as your tour guide I will recommend this tour to everyone. My teenage son’s favorite was the rope swing. I loved the natural water slide. I’m 56 years old and even braved the cliff jump. Francis showed me a lower cliff that I felt more comfortable to jump from. This is a tour you must do while in Puerto Rico. Enjoy!

5.00Frances is amazing. El Yunque is beautiful, serene, rough and a serious hike. There are places where the path is smooth, and others where you are navigating tree routes. Frances is a great guide and really knows the forest. He and a fellow guide helped me through a rough section, and didn’t make me feel awkward. All in all a great experience!

5.00Be prepared to hike!! Beautiful and serene rain forest with waterfalls, steep hills, and a natural water slide. Our guide, Frances, was amazing. He knows the park like the back of his hand, and stopped to point out amazing flora and fauna. I was a bit older than some of the other folks in the group, but Frances made sure my travel buddy and I were well taken care of! I can’t recommend the tour enough. Frances is an amazing guide and human being and I highly recommend him!

5.00The tour was excellent and our guides Francis and Justin were excellent, giving us lot of tips on trekking the rainforest, and details of history, nature and what to lookout for! They took us to the water slides, jumps from cliff into pools and helped us along a moderately difficult trek by boosting us and practically helping us along the way. Would definitely recommend them!
