your instructor and driver will be waiting for you at your hotel in a 4x4 truck. Leaving the hotel we will go by the pan-American highway to the south to the Distric of CHILCA. in this place we will make a quick stop to buy (optional) some delicious artisan breads. and use the services before enter the dunes!! we will leave the road and make a short crossing through the sand dune field until we reach the place where we can do sandboarding. it is in this place where our instructor will show you the boards and give the necessary techniques to surf the sand dunes. You will start in a small dune to discover your posture and learn the basic techniques for control and sliding on the board. As we improve we will change Dune (level). Your driver will be waiting for you after the last dune because he will use it as an elevator to get to the top and start again. Depending on your skills and progression, you can repeat the races 2 to 3 times. Finally, we will be on our way back to the hotel. all these moments will be saved from your camera..

I went alone on this experience after learning about it from some travel partners and had a great time. The two hosts were kind and fun and made me completely comfortable. I was a total chicken and kept falling so I opted to really just sand sled and they were ok with that. They also made sure I was safe. It was a fun day and they also took a lot of great photos. I highly recommend them.

Amazing amazing time! Would do it 500 more times if i could! Me and my cousins had a blast our driver was so cool and played the best music and kept us safe! Abraham is definitely the best instructor for this activity. He’s educated and helpful and fun! Do this if you come to Peru!! Thanks again guys!

I had an amazing sandboarding experience with Nomada Sandboard Experiences last April! From the moment we met the team, everything was well-organized and fun. The instructors were friendly, patient, and clearly experienced, taking the time to show everyone how to ride safely and confidently. The dunes were beautiful, and the location near Lima made it such an easy and rewarding half-day activity without having to travel all the way to Huacachina. Our guide even took photos and videos for us along the way, which was such a nice touch. Overall, I would 100% recommend this to anyone visiting Lima, whether you’re traveling solo, as a couple, or with family. It was one of the highlights of my Peru trip and great value for an unforgettable adventure!

Our family had a great time sandboarding with Abraham! Great instructions, super cool experience. They took us for a fun drive in the dunes too. Highly recommend!

Awesome! Abraham was a great guide. We (family of 3) were picked up at our Airbnb in a Toyota 4WD and driven to massive sand dunes south of Lima. Along the way we stopped at an Artisanal Bakery - very tasty ....I recommend you get more snacks than you need as you will get hungry after Sandboarding. Once we reached the dunes, our driver gave us a little roller coaster drifting ride that was a lot of fun? Than we headed up to the Dunes for Sandboarding. The views from the Dunes are amazing and if you do any gliding sports, it's not so difficult; plus the soft sand makes falling a non-existent worry. Highly recommended!! PS - The sand is fine and soft and will stick to your sunblock. It's not necessary, but it's probably better to take an extra liter or so of water with you so you can rinse your face, neck, arms, etc.

An amazing experience. I’ve snowboarded but my partner had never been on a board. The instructions gave us all we needed to get going and by the end of the day we were flying down the dunes! Would 100% recommend for the driving experience alone.

I don't know what was more fun, the ride up the dunes or the actual sandboardong. Abraham wasa great instuctor who knew how to havw a good time. HIGHLY recommend this trip, can't miss this opportunity!!

Our sandboarding trip in Peru was so much fun! Abraham made us feel comfortable right from the start — super friendly, upbeat, and really knows his stuff. He walked us through everything, made sure we felt safe, and kept the vibe light and fun the whole time. The dunes were absolutely beautiful, and the views were honestly unreal. Abraham’s energy and passion made the whole experience even better. He took amazing photos for us and shared cool local tips that gave the day a little extra magic. If you want an adventure with gorgeous scenery and an awesome guide, definitely book this tour. Abraham was the best — the perfect mix of excitement, laughs, and Peruvian charm!

I planned this trip for my daughter's birthday and it did not disappoint. We were picked up on time and taken to this amazing breakfast spot and had an awesome time sandboarding. Definitely worth the trip and great cost for the experience. Can't wait to return and do it again. The instructions and lessons we received were really helpful in giving us the best experience.
