  I was really excited about this tour but it did not meet my expectations. We saw the northern lights and that was great, but I was really disappointed when we received our photos. The person who was taking the photos did not take many. Since the lights were not super active (KP 2) I felt that he should have been snapping constantly until the lights went away. Icing on the cake was that all the pics we were in, he didn't use flash so we look like dark blobs. He took a couple of flash photos, but then I noticed he had us stand in front of the aurora cinnamon swirl that was happening behind us. So, we were blocking the magnificent lights. Total bummer. Hot drinks and snacks were nice. They were friendly and told us interesting info during the tour.

  This was my third tour with the company and it was just as great as the last two. The lights were amazing and they made sure we had an incredible few spots to see them from.

  This was a 5 star experience and absolutely beautiful. Our goal was to see the Northern Lights, so we went to the best place for viewing in America, at the best time of year and with the best company. Aurorainak took us in a small group to a quiet location for the best experience. The photos and movie sent from Aurorainak are spectacular. The friendly staff thought of everything, from transport in a warm comfortable vehicle, tips on taking photos and information on the lights, to a campfire and cabin to warm up between viewings in the -10° F night - all at a great price. The lights danced in the sky and this was the experience of a lifetime.

  This would have earned five stars, except for one thing…the aurora was a no-show. Communication prior to the tour was great, we were picked up at our hotel right on time, and the van is comfortable. The night of our tour was extremely cold and since the sky was crystal clear, we only had to drive a few miles out of town to an area on top of a hill with unobstructed views. When we got to the site, there were two fire pits burning outside and a fireplace going inside. The driver also kept the van running so people could wait in the van. Our driver/photographer was Andrew, and he and the other staff kept checking various data sources.to get an idea when the aurora would appear. Unfortunately, though, it never did. Not even a twinkle.. The company offered a choice of a fifty percent refund or reschedule. Since we had to leave, we took the refund, and it was processed the following day. If we ever come back to Fairbanks, we would definitely book this tour again.

  This is my second time on the tour and it was just as great as the first. The guides are so personable and fun, with great knowledge on every question I asked and a real enthusiasm for seeing the lights. They drove us to several locations and went out of their way to make sure we got out from under the clouds and had a brilliant view of a gorgeous aurora. The guides seem to genuinely care that we not only see the lights but have the best view. Food and hot drinks, a warm van, and awesome pictures taken by the team really made all the difference as we soaked up the brilliance in the sky. Could not recommend this company for aurora chasing more, especially Andrew, Tony, and Andre.

  Unbelievably great, I could not recommend this tour more. The lodge was such a warm relief at -10F and the fire was so cozy with the reindeer sausage. We had an incredible view of the Aurora and the guides were super invested in making sure we had a great view, great pictures, and a great time. 100/10.

  Had an amazing Aurora chase night — the team was truly incredible. They used multiple apps and real-time tracking to follow the Aurora efficiently, and we ended up driving nearly 120 miles past Fairbanks to get the perfect spot. Once there, they set up a warm fire 🔥 and treated us to hot cocoa and vegan sausages while we waited for the northern lights. They also guided us with camera settings since we had our own, and their hospitality was beyond extraordinary. The photoshoot was absolutely impeccable, and they made frequent restroom stops along the way which was so thoughtful. Despite the bright moonlight, we still saw the northern lights with our naked eyes. Such a memorable and beautifully organized experience!

  This was an exciting experience. Found the Northern Lights and all staff was friendly and helpful. The tour did go from 10:00 pm to a a little after 3:00 am. If you would like to see the Northern lights this is the tour group to go with.

  The team was great. They moved around looking for different locations to see the lights and WOW, we did see them and they were spectacular. We really enjoyed the way they had multiple people taking pictures and helping folks on the tour learn how to capture the lights on their camera. We would highly recommended this tour to everyone!

  Wonderful experience! Very experienced and knowledgeable staff/guides. The Firepits and heated "lodge" were a pleasant surprise. Thank you for the most memorable of evenings!!
