This is the most authentic Hike in all of Puerto Rico. This tour is for fit people who arent afraid of a good hike. This tour has it all, amazing views, great adventure, lots of adrenaline, fun and delicious food all in one amazing day. You will be completely off the beaten path and will likely be the only other tourists there as the cities we will visit are in the heartland of the country. Your first stop is in Orocovis, a beautiful quiet little town in the center of the island. There we will hike up Cerro Mime. It is a short but very intense hike. What makes it hard is the steep terrain and hard sun beating down so sunscreen is recommended. After the hike we get to cool off in the most amazing river on the island: Toro Negro River. There we have the opportunity to cliff jump and have even more adrenaline or simply cool off and relax in the nice water. Do yourself a favor and book this tour. This is a quick bathroom break before we begin the hike. Also here I recommend you try a local pastry as they are very fresh and delicious. My favorites are the “Quesito”
Cerro Mime
Our guide will meet you at 1374 Ashford Ave and from there we will drive into the heart of Puerto Rico, to a small town called Orocovis. No tourists come here this is very authentic and off the beaten path. The drive takes us thru the Panoramic Route of Puerto Rico where you will see some of the most beautiful views in all the island. When we begin our hike it is important that everyone is fit enough for a short yet very strenous hike. It takes about 40-60 minutes to summit. Sounds short but it is very intense and under the hot sun at all times. Good fitness is required. During the hike and once you get to the summit you will be blessed by some of the most spectacular views in this country. Cerro Mime is a magical place located in the center of the island. This is a unique experience that you won’t find anywhere else.

5.00This is an adventure from the beginning till the end. The mountain views on the road, the beautiful houses with panoramic views that make me dream. El Cerro looks like a fluffy mountain from far away! The rivers have crystal clear waters. A must have experience in Orocovis 💚

5.00An extraordinary experience filled with spectacular views and hiking. You need to be in good physical condition to reach the top, but it's truly worth it. You'll be next to the tour guide at all times, which is safe and fun. After the hike, you'll end up in a refreshing river where you can jump in or just have a good time in the cold water. Highly recommended.

5.00Fabulous hike in the mountains of Orocovis !! Cerro Mime offers a full workout and charming views for daring people. It’s a beautiful hike for people who love nature and challenges, like us! If you enjoy adventures and a good cardio workout, this tour is perfect for you. The trail is somewhat challenging but well laid out. Once at the top, you will look at beautiful views of green pastures and blue skies. Puente el Cacao is also amazing! You can jump from the bridge, you can swim in the natural pools or simply relax and enjoy nature! Brandon was our tour guide, he made us have a blast! In love!

5.00This is Definitively one of the Best and longest REAL hike in PR. We walked up the Mountain for about a good 30-40mins and then about same time to go down. You can smell the Fresh clean air of the mountains while having a stunning view of all the mountains sorrounding. Everything is Green and Beautifull. its algo a great Leg Exercise. You deff need a good Health condition to climb this mountain . After the mountain we ended up in a Bridge with a river below. Great spot for cliff jumping. 10/10

5.00This was my favorite tour in PR!! We booked this trip back in August hoping for a unique experience seeing the parts of Puerto Rico not normally on social media, The hike itself was very challenging since there is not a lot of shade and it is steep! yet rewarding since you have a panoramic view of the center of the island, farmland, cows 🐄 and unique tropical fruits , To cool down Brandon brought us to a quiet part of a beautiful river with waterfalls and safe spots to jump in the water . Afterwards we treated ourselves to a lovely puerto rican lunch, (ask for the costillas =ribs 😋) Bring Good hiking shoes and sun screen is a must!! I brought a beach shirt and sun hat for full coverage, also you want to be physically able to hike about a mile to complete the first hike so be mindful of that ! Thanks again Brandon for our most memorable moments in Puerto Rico aug 2025!

5.00Loved the views and the challenge of the climb up Cerro Mime! Photos and videos cannot do this justice. You have to see this spot to really appreciate the beauty of it. The river was a fun spot to cool off after the hike and it was very unique. We were the only group there so it felt very exclusive as well.
