5.00The hike is challenging and gorgeous! We appreciated every step and the scenery, as well as Granger's personal touches. It felt like part life coaching and part environmental education! I've been to San Diego a number of times and this is by far my favorite activity now. Next time I will try his sea cave tour.

5.00On this hike you will see beautiful vistas and learn about the nature you’re experiencing. Granger is very knowledgeable and engaging - exactly the kind of person you want as a guide. It was a much greater experience as a result.
What a fun and surprisingly challenging hike!!! Love it! Our tour guild Granger made it easier and enjoyable.

5.00It’s a little more challenging than we thought, definitely recommending non-slip and comfortable shoes. Our guide has given a lot of information and very passionate about nature and what he does. Overall an amazing experience!

5.00This hike was 100/10. We loved it. We are from Colorado and have been on many hikes but Grainger is the best guide and we absolutely could not have done that hike without him. My 3 teens loved it even though it meant getting up at 7:00am on vacation. Would do it again and if I lived here I’d bring all my visitors on this adventure.

5.00This was stunning, but I would rate it as a black diamond as far as difficulty goes. You should be in good enough shape to climb a rock wall by rope.

5.00The hike was the perfect balance of fun and challenge. It was just technical enough to make it interesting and adventurous, but never so difficult that I felt nervous or out of my comfort zone. The slot canyons themselves were beautiful and such a unique way to experience the park. Our guide, Granger, really made the tour special. He was incredibly knowledgeable, clearly passionate about the area, and did a fantastic job explaining the geology and natural history along the way. His enthusiasm made the whole experience even more engaging. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and a wonderful way to kick off my time exploring San Diego. I’d absolutely recommend this tour to anyone looking for a fun, memorable adventure in Torrey Pines.

5.00Went back this weekend! totally a must do if you are in the area. round trip from the parking area might take about an hour for an easy hike. In and back there are a few hilly areas of the trail. Once in the canyon entrance you can opt for: Right side trail: challenging but majestic. You get to walk along the canyon walls. At the end there is a ladder and may be challenging for some. If you take the trail to the left, you can go up to the lookout area at the top of the canyon.
