Off the Beaten Path: Puerto Rico Hiking Adventure Tour
Spend the day exploring some of Puerto Rico’s hidden gems—majestic waterfalls, impressive native trees, panoramic mountain views, rich coffee, and authentic countryside food.
- Venture into the Central Mountain Range of Puerto Rico.
- Explore a private nature reserve in small groups (8 to 9 participants max) for an intimate experience.
- Discover hidden waterfalls, including a breathtaking 150-foot cascade.
- Take a refreshing dip in a natural pool while enjoying freshly cut tropical fruits prepared just for you.
- Savor traditional Puerto Rican countryside dishes (affordable, not included in the tour price) with spectacular views of the mountains.
Important: This tour is designed for physically fit participants. The hike is moderate with some challenging sections, including steep trails and river crossings. If you are above or below our suggested age range, please contact us before booking.

Good traction shoes, Examples: Keen, Five Ten, La Sportiva. If you don’t have any of these options Good Sneakers (Nike, Reebok, Asics, Addidas, etc.)
Change of clothes and a towel. Camera, Small Backpack and Waterproof Camera (if possible).
Wear bathing suit or bring along. in case you want to dive in one the natural ponds.
Have good endurance, balance and coordination. Hiking Level (Off The Beaten Path) - Moderate to Challenging with some steep hiking and river trekking sections - Suitable for all Physically Fit People. (((Please be advised, most participants, that doesn’t fall into this category, usually cannot keep up the required pace, cope with the sustained hiking on steep terrain, and regularly do not complete the adventure. This usually slows everyone down and can result in a safety hazard.)))
If concern by mosquitos, it is recommended you wear and extra layer under your shirt and pants. Example: long sleeve dry fit tee and compression cool dry sports tights pants base layer. Another option would be Hiking Pants or Bug Repellent
Pick up at 7:00 am return at 4:00 to 5:00 pm approximately (subject to the number of participants on the tour, weather, traffic and participants' skill level)
Sleep and eat well so you can be sharp for a Good Hiking/Trekking Day. (Disclaimer: if by any reason we think you’re a not well rested and this could compromise the safety of the tour you might no be allowed to participate in the adventure)
Please be advised, We required a minimum of 3 to 4 participants to make this tour happen.
Age Limit: 18 to 60 yrs old. Please keep in mind this is a real off the beaten path hiking tour. Above our below our age limit feel free to contact us to see if this tour is suitable for the participant/s..

This is your chance to experience the island’s coffee culture right at the source. Enjoy the aroma, atmosphere, and—of course—the coffee! Choose your favorite style: latte, cappuccino, macchiato, or straight-up black (available for purchase). Each cup is a taste of Puerto Rico’s rich coffee heritage. This cozy stop also features a clean restroom (“baño”), quick snacks or light breakfast, and a relaxed artisan café vibe—the perfect fuel before your adventure begins. 5.00This tour was truly amazing. I’ve done other tours & they don’t come close to this one. If you’re looking to see the true beauty and nature of the place this if for you. We also were not surrounded by other tour groups which was nicr. Andre was amazing, you can see his passion and care for the space. He was also super attentive to each participant. Highly recommended, you won’t regret it!

5.00This hike with Andre was absolutely fantastic! We covered about 3–4 miles through the mountains, surrounded by lush greenery and splendid waterfalls. There’s even an option to take a dip in the natural pools — highly recommend it to cool off! Andre keeps his groups small, which makes for great conversations and a more personal experience. His love for Puerto Rico truly shines through in the way he talks about the island, the environment, and its natural beauty. You can tell he genuinely cares about preserving it. We started the morning at a local coffee shop (amazing coffee!) and ended with a home-style lunch — grandma’s cooking at its best. Andre even had pop-up changing tents available so we could freshen up before lunch, which was such a thoughtful touch. His instructions before the hike were detailed, but only to make sure everyone was well-prepared. The trail itself was fun, moderately challenging for my fitness level, and absolutely exhilarating. If you’re looking for a hike that’s equal parts adventure, culture, and connection — you’ll have a blast with Andre!

5.00“I've been on hundreds of tours/excursions of all types and this has probably been my all time favorite, ever. I worked in the travel space for many years, with responsibility for booking travel experiences for college groups. So I'm mindful of things like ability to accommodate diverse needs and personalities, safety precautions, etc. André, and the experience he cultivates, is just 10/10 perfection. Of course, being in an idyllic location with stunning 360 views at all times doesn't hurt. But I can't say enough about how dedicated André is to ensuring everyone has an incredible time. It's not an easy hike but the positive vibes and beautiful setting make it a challenge that physically fit individuals can't feel anything but grateful to experience. I was also pleasantly surprised by both breakfast and lunch - the beauty of the locations, the quality of the food, and the extremely reasonable pricing. Going on this trip was one of the most memorable experiences l've ever had. TY André!”

5.00This was such a unique experience you literally can't find anywhere else. After an absolutely delicious coffee stop, Andre took us to his private property where he has created the perfect wilderness area. He has planted all kinds of beautiful tropical flowers, and curated adventerous trails to magical waterfalls. While this tour is not for people with disabilities, nor is it for people who aren't fit, and definitely not for people who aren't prepared to get muddy and wet, it was the adventure of a lifetime! We transversed trails we never could have trekked alone, scrambled rocks, waded through pools and rivers, stood beneath incredible waterfalls, all under the watchful eye of our guide. Andre was charming and friendly, told stories, and made us feel comfortable and safe. He nrought delicious tropical fruit for the apex of our hike and made the whole thing so much more fun. If you're looking for a non fussy, free of tourists, INCREDIBLE adventure, this tour is for you.

5.00I can't recommend Andre and this hiking tour enough! It was the highlight of my trip. Andre truly considered every aspect of the journey to make it fun, comfortable, accessible, enjoyable, and special. I've traveled all over the world and rarely seen someone take this much care for an experience they have curated themself. The hike was challenging but had plenty of breaks for water, to take pictures, and to enjoy the scenery and swim in the waterfall pools. The small group size meant we got personal attention and great company for the meals and shared time together. The value for money is outstanding - the meals, quality of transportation, and included amenties such as fresh fruit, water, changing tent, free gear to borrow, etc were a game-changer. But besides that, Andre had send adequate instructions beforehand to ensure you would bring anything and everything you personally need to complete the hike. Definitely come ready to embrace a jungle trek with mud, climbing, & swimming!

5.00“Andre is a guide who facilitates experiences that will last a lifetime time. Our thoughtful host curated a day that met all of our needs. First stop coffee, and I personally went large with 20oz of goodness. Ham, egg, and cheese on fresh local bread fueled the start of our day. André is a wealth of knowledge and soul. His stories and conversation are unmatched. Then there's the hike its self. Wonderful waterfalls, spectacular scenery, and a guide that will help you capture it all. Come ready to sweat and get wet, but André will prepare you for the journey ahead.”

5.00André blew my expectations through the roof with this hike/ experience. The perfect reviews seemed to good to be true, but i have nothing but great things to say about the beautiful experience we had. I was comfortable the entire time, starting the morning with breakfast and coffee really set the mood right and we all went into this with great energy. Easily the highlight of our girls trip all thanks to André effortlessly guiding us. It was a pleasure meeting and getting to know him throughout the day. We all walked away remembering to be more present and live slowly :)

A hike off the beaten path (literally) and a great experience from the beginning to the end, starting with André picking us up from Old San Juan, making a very important first stop at a local coffee shop in the mountains and ending with a delicious local Puerto Rican lunch! André, thank you so much for guiding us, making sure we had a great experience, showing us the beautiful nature of Puerto Rico Central Mountain, taking us to amazing waterfalls, and giving us such a “magical" experience. This is an unforgettable experience for anyone who's looking for a unique adventure in Puerto Rico off the beaten path!

5.00This tour with André was hands-down the highlight of our Puerto Rico trip! * He picked us up in the morning and even made a stop at the cutest local coffee shop for breakfast before the adventure began. Then he led us through his very own path in the rainforest— no crowds, just our small group exploring hidden gems. We visited four breathtaking waterfalls, and at one of them André pulled fresh fruit straight from his backpack, cut it for us on the spot, and it was perfect. He even took amazing photos of us so we could just soak in the moment. We ended the day enjoying authentic Puerto Rican food with a stunning view, which was the perfect finale. André is the nicest man ever-we ended up calling him "The Beast" because he created these trails himself! He's incredibly knowledgeable, passionate, and makes the whole day so much fun. If you're in Puerto Rico, you must book this tour!!!

5.00THE BEST MOUNTAINS TOUR I'VE EVER HAD!!! Everything was so unique and thoughtfully organized, with every little detail carefully planned. André was incredibly attentive and knowledgeable, sharing so much fascinating information throughout the day. It was an amazing experience from start to finish — full of unforgettable moments, great vibes, and so many emotions! At some point group of strangers became best friends looking for adventures! Truly a remarkable day!
