26 to 30 Degrees Centigrade clear blue water and beautiful tropical coral reefs to explore during your first scuba dive experience in our awesome underwater backyard. Fully certified and experienced SSI dive instructors with you throughout your 2 dives, and they know every fish by name.

After meeting your instructor and completing a medical declaration, you will head out on the regular daily dive boat trip along with everyone else for the 2 dive trip. You will receive entry level equipment and ears equalising basic training in the boat, which will be followed through in the shallow waters beside one of the coral reefs. When comfortable, your instructor will manage everything for you regarding descent and buoyancy - all you have to do is continue breathing and fall in love with our marine backyard. No pool training necessary, and your instructor will remain with you throughout - even hold your hand for confidence boost if you would like. The Introductory Dives are designed to be experiential for non certified divers, and is great for a certified person who has a non certified partner, or family group and would like to share the experience of first time scuba diving. Minimum age to scuba dive is 10 years old - a great family holiday experience.

Andrew and his team created a memorable experience. The boat instructors were fantastic. Helpful and caring. I’m so grateful for this amazing reconnection to diving and we look forward to coming back for another trip. Thank you all for the experience from pick up to drop off.

My son (14) and I had a fantastic experience with Andrew and the Team from Whitetip Marine Adventures. I had not dived for over 20 years and my son was a beginner, and had never dived before. I was nervous about the supervision my son would experience, however, I need not have been concerned. Both my son and I were paired with an experienced instructor, and everything was explained in detail. During our two morning dives, our instructors were always right next to us. We saw some amazing sea life, including a reef shark and turtle. I particularly liked the fact that Andrew's dive boat only caters for a small number of clients, giving a very personal feel. I can't recommend highly enough.

I had the absolute pleasure of trying scuba diving for the first time during my holiday in Fiji and it was truly the highlight of my entire trip! This unforgettable experience was nothing short of magical, and I can’t recommend it enough. From the very beginning, Andrew was an exceptional host. His communication was clear and professional, and he even provided seamless hotel pick-up and drop-off, making everything easy and stress free. A special shout-out must go to Monica, my incredible dive instructor. She was nothing less than sensational patient, reassuring, and so encouraging every step of the way. She even held my hand during the dive to make sure I felt completely safe and confident. And the best part? She captured amazing footage of the entire dive, giving me memories I’ll treasure forever. The entire team was absolutely amazing friendly, supportive, and passionate about what they do. They made the whole experience smooth, exciting, and unforgettable. If you’re in Fiji, this is an absolute must-do! The underwater world is breathtaking, and with a team like this, you’ll feel supported, safe, and totally exhilarated. I can’t wait to do it again! We had a fabulous half day of scuba diving experience with Whitetip Adventures. Both my wife and daughter were first time divers, and I had zero faith either of them would be able to do a dive. But Monica is a magician and made them so comfortable, my daughter was going around by herself half way through the first dive, and my wife was able to experience both dives. I had Mac helping me out, and he was fantastic guiding me through spots as well. Andrew was a joy to chat with before and after the dive. I have two recommendations though - 1. Give a tiny bit of talk on how to protect the marine life underneath while diving. Its pristine and precious and we are invading their space, so divers need to be respectful. 2. Carry a book of pictures and names of commonly sighted marine life. It would have been great to discuss with my daughter what all she spotted during the dive. I would wholeheartedly recommend this company. This was undoubtably the best experience of our whole trip.

It was a small group. Just me and one other person, with 3 works/instructors. They are so nice and friendly. They work with your needs. ( I have never scuba dive before) they are so patient and understanding as well. I never felt unsafe or in danger. We saw so much sea life! Everything from reef sharks to sea turtles to squids to jellyfish to parrot fish and even see cucumbers. It was a great first time!

Amazing trip. The kids were first time divers and the Whitetip team were really patient and helpful with. Would thoroughly recommend them and look forward to our next trip with them.

We had an amazing experience for my daughters first dive. Monica and crew were amazing at supporting her through the whole dive so she felt safe and had a great time. The whole crew really want your dive to be successful from explanations to hand holding. Recommend for those with a little adventurous spirit as it is a lot more exciting than learning in a pool - the location is beautiful and you will highly likely see turtles, lots of fish, coral and eels. Maybe even a reef shark.
