  I recently went on the Isle of Skye day tour with Alex as our guide, and it was a truly wonderful experience. I’ll admit I was initially hesitant, as my original three-day tour with this company had been canceled. However, this day trip completely restored my confidence. From start to finish, the tour was well organized, smooth, and thoughtfully paced. Alex was exceptional — knowledgeable, engaging, and clearly passionate about Scottish history and the Highlands. He shared stories that brought the landscapes to life, weaving together Jacobite history, clan culture, and local folklore in a way that felt both informative and personal. He also struck a perfect balance between guided insight and giving us space to take in the scenery. Isle of Skye is breathtaking on its own, but having a guide who understands how to frame what you’re seeing makes all the difference. Alex did exactly that. Despite the earlier cancellation, this experience was memorable and meaningful, and I’m grateful I decided to go. Thank you for a beautiful day in the Highlands.

  I really enjoyed this tour. It was great value for both time and money. I think this kind of tour is essential if you plan to travel to the Highlands before April and you’re from a country where people drive on the right. Our guide, Marita, was incredibly helpful. She was so knowledgeable and witty that I was able to understand the region much better. She even took us to a hidden gem on the Isle of Skye and made stops along the way so we could see Highland cows and soay(??) sheep up close. Even though the tour group was international and we were from different "continents", she managed to help us all get along. Thank you, Marita. If I travel to Scotland again, I will definitely join this company.

  Lovely tour with Marita (loved her sense of humour!). She provided detailed info along the route, suggested great photo spots and shops, and even made a few extra stops to enjoy the breathtaking scenery.

  Recommended experience for those of us who are not afraid to rent a car! We left Inverness and in 12 hours our guide Fiona took us to see as many spots and viewpoints as possible. The explanation was clear and precise and we had the chance, despite being in mid-January to see the beauty of the Isle of Skye. Super recommended!!

  Fantastic trip that was well worth the money. Alex was a great guide who provided knowledgeable commentary whilst driving safely. Even provided extra stops along the way. I was a solo female traveller who felt perfectly safe and comfortable the entire time. Highly recommend !

  It would have tobe the worst tour I have been on and thats mainly because of the the bus. I sat out the back seat and there were 5 of us crammed on the seat(it was a full bus), it should have bee be 4 I have never had such an uncomfortable day. Also I did not realized the rocks you see after Portree, loop back around I would rather of stayed in Portree then going to the rocks and finally there just too many stops, the tour went far too long.

  I definitely recommend this tour. The guide was really a good storyteller. They wrapped up all the important spots, and we had enough breaks for refreshments. I recommend this trip for family and friends both.

• A Stunning Glimpse of Skye!

  We recently took a one-day tour to the Isle of Skye, and while it was a wonderful experience, our biggest regret is that we didn’t stay for more days. The tour was the perfect “taster” of what the island has to offer and definitely left us wanting to return and explore more. What We Loved - Our guide, Owen, was absolutely lovely and incredibly knowledgeable. He went above and beyond by stopping at additional locations that weren’t even part of the itinerary, which made the experience feel more personal and special. Thanks to him, we were able to see even more of Skye’s breathtaking landscapes than we expected. A Gentle Suggestion - We do understand that it’s a very long day with a lot of ground to cover. However, there were moments when the driving felt a bit rushed, particularly on the return journey, where we felt uneasy at one point and briefly worried about a potential collision. A slightly calmer pace would have made the experience even more comfortable.
