5.00Together with my guide Rajan, I went on a wonderful full-day tour of Ipoh. He was particularly knowledgeable about the geology of caves, cave temples and the history of the region, and I could tell he really enjoyed explaining them to me. That enthusiasm made the tour even more interesting. Even though he couldn't understand it at first, he explained it carefully over and over again, using different words and analogies without a single nasty face. In the morning we were picked up at a hotel in Ipoh, in the morning we visited Pelatong Cave Temple, San Po Tong Cave Temple, Namcheon Cave, Lingxian Rock, Mirror Lake and in the afternoon we visited the tea plantations in Gahal, Gua Templen and Kerry Castle. The tour was from 9am to 18:30pm, very well thought out and efficient. I was especially grateful that I was not rushed anywhere. I was able to look around freely at the temple at my own pace until I was satisfied. We stopped by a local restaurant for lunch, which was reasonably priced at 12-13 ringgit, including drinks, and was delicious. It didn't take long and we didn't waste sightseeing time. This tour is highly recommended for those who want to see Ipoh in its entirety in a day, as well as those travelling alone. Rajan has also toured with Cameron Highland, so I'd love to see you next time. I highly recommend it. Entrance fees and lunch fees for places like Miller Lake and Gua Templen are payable at the time of entry as stated in the tour guide, so please bring around 100RM+ in cash.

He is very humble, answers questions and even searches the Internet for information for which he does not know the answers. We recommend it without hesitation.

5.00We had a great time exploring Ipoh area. Gua Tempurung was the highlight for us, but all the stops on the itinerary were excellent (with the possible exception of HOGA, which we personally could have skipped). Overall, we were very happy with our choice of tour. Our guide, Rajan, was enthusiastic and very knowledgeable, and together with Mr. Mike, our driver, they ensured we had an unforgettable day. The restaurant selected for lunch was also very good and added to the overall experience.

5.00Wonderful day trip with Rajan. A really humble and friendly guy who made our day at these Ipoh attraction sites truly memorable. He accompanied us throughout, ready with stories and information about the places, always patient and considerate of the pace and our comfort. I am especially appreciative that he made the extra effort to strike conversations with my moody teenage son. Thank you Rajan.

5.00Great day out. Pick up 9am and dropped back at just before 7pm. Moderate level of fitnesses required as there are many stairs at two of the sites. Our guide (Rajan) was fantastic and very knowledgeable.
